Well... that was the reason I posted in my theory on how Wesker might be still alive earlier in this thread.

Speaking of which zomBD, I apprieciate your feedback on it. Even though you personally thought it was a bit farfetched for the Resident Evil series in your eyes, but it was best theory I could come up with.

But despite all that, I believe Wesker isn't coming back, regardless of what some might think otherwise.

alot of films get remade nowadays I mean christ their already talking about remaking spider man and zack effron possibly playing peter parker!!
So my only hope is a total remake of the series to restore some of my faith(but the liklehood of capcom doing it is rather slim IMO)
I'd really just like the original on psx to be left how it was and re 1.5 reinstated as number 2 and go on from there and keep the zombies and classic stuff in it with the possibility of a completely different story for wesker and umbrella.
Thats the only way I could see a plausible comeback for wesker.

Personally, I just want to see a little more background to the idea. Or at least to be shown the other Weskers.

Nah, that one is remotely intelligent, using previous characters and old information. It would even satisfy some old fans and allow Claire a easy, non convoluted way back into the story. And that is why it will never happen.

They ruined him in 5, making him your typical villain concerned with a global rule, they should've kept him as the Cold, Terminator-esque man he was in 4 and below.

Let's give another person a chance, how about Trent?
I'd love to see him in the games, maybe tie up Ada's loose ends.

Dont forget that the serum injected into him acts as a poison, thats another thing to add to the list.
bullets + 2 knives in the heart + lava + 2 rockets to the head + poison + the virus' weakness to fire (bacteria, virus and germs etc are killed by extreme heat anyway) = DEFFINTLY dead.
He's my fav character, and even i want him to remain dead.

IF there was ANY chance of the bad-boy's return Capcom would have left his demise an un-certainty, or at least left the door oh so, slightly adjar, for an un-likely return ~ BUT they did not, and not only that, they made a point of utilising a type of incineration-death that is impossible to come back from, even Wesker, without Capcom & most importantly, the Biohazard series, losing ALL credibility.

That's always been one of my favorite fanarts of Wesker and Sherry. What's even more intriguing about that picture is the artist's interpretation of Sherry's clothes, which turned out fairly close to the cloak Jill was wearing in RE5. And, if I recall, he drew this several months before the trailers ever showed the cloaked woman. Epic, man.
