I think he was typical comic book villain '#-485638945' in Bio 5 because he acted insane with a wit to rule the world. My theory was that he snapped when he found out, through Spencer, that he was, well, 'manufactured'. He snapped, and he snapped bad. So, if I'm correct, he wanted to renew (or create anew) Umbrella, but then shifted to Global destruction/domination/saving (or whatevs) after snapping hard.

I agree with that theory and I think it's a pretty obvious one when you think about it. His plans were never about what he went on to do in 5 but when he met Spencer he had a sort of breakdown and went insane and just after power.

Don't know if this has been mentioned already but I just found a few video's on youtube and some gossip on several forums that there is some file on Res5 that mentions an Alex Wesker? Not really 100% with the information but from what I gathered Alex is the original Wesker so the father if you will. In 1998 he was 30 years younger than Spencer. There was a few other things mentioned something about a W28. virus as well, Anyone know what/where this file is?

If Wesker isn't dead, i'll be pissed off, because that means once again, CAPCOM is too much of a pussy to kill of characters for good. Why can't they learn that shit from Konami, i mean, nearly a handful of important characters were killed off in MGS4.

Also, super lul at the T-002 and T-103 being the same Tyrant. Never heard such a ridiculous argument in my life. Maybe the Proto Tyrant is the same one as in RE1 because it attacks in a similar way. There are many canon sources which confirm they're two separate Tyrants, and that's how companies (epsecially in Science) usually work. Evolution. A Prototype (T-001), another experimental Prototype (T-002) then a mass-produced product (T-103). The T-103's were produced en-masse with variant forms of it as well (T-078). Don't get get how someone could deny that with "lul they attack the same". O.O Wesker is dead and he won't come back unless Capcom pull some "and it was all a dream" crap, and that'd lose them a LOT of respect.

Of coarse my ending for RE5 was worse than the ending we got, but in the long run, it is much much better.

Why? because it sets up perfectly for more classic style RE games with zombies and a focus on horror not story.

With the ending we got in RE5, where the hell is the series gonna go now? it could go anywhere, and i don;t want new character or a new story, there are other games i want to buy, and RE is starting to really piss me off now. And i don't have a million dollars so i can't get the all, so i gotta pick carefully. And i cannot be bothered with an RE reboot so If it happens, i won't get it.

With my ending to RE5, it makes RE5 a whole lo worse sure, but it actually fixes up everything that was wrong with RE, and makes future RE games something to look forward to again.

Because, RE4, and RE5 would be non canon, just dreams. Plagas is no existent, only Virus's, thus the series would go back to Zombies and BOW's, if my ending was canon that means i would also be the director, so the series would be going back to it's roots of horror and atmosphere and survival. it would have camera angles again, and perhaps some games in the style of RE 3.5 too. (I would release RE 1.5 as well lol). Chris, and Jill would never join BSAA, because Claire just said they should go back to there normal lives. Jill would never be taken by Wesker. Leon would never become a government agent. Wesker would have no plagas, Uroboros would never happen. Wesker would never become boring, he would stay in the shadows, the Wesker children would be no more that a bad nightmare Chris had. Spencer would be all powerful, and not a frail old man. Umbrella would never be taken down so easily, This is Umbrella, they could just release a virus on the government if they tried to close Umbrella, Spencer would be obsessed with his creations and Umbrella, not his stupid plans to be a God with Wesker. Eventually another accident would have happened. Jill, Chris, Leon, Claire and Rebecca would be stuck in the middle of it, with time i could think up of a spectacular story for it all (I'm not going to right now), and it would all make perfect sense. And for once, the characters will get some proper development, as i will be putting a lot more cutscenes in the games, and be making them longer cause i think RE is a little to short.

Basically it would fix everything, it's a good choice in the long run, for a classic fan anyway. So sacrifice a little (RE5) to gain much more (classics).

Even if RE4 had not happened, it wouldn't stop Leon from becoming a
government agent anyhow...he did not join because he wanted to stop Las
Plagas or Save Ashley. He most likely joined because he wanted to take
a bigger role in fighting and erasing these viruses from the face of the
earth and probably he has a bigger hands-on on information then passing
it along to comrades such as "Chris" to help the cause.


Having all those character in one game would be an Outbreak game with
a most likely inconclusive ending or no point to the whole game aside
from trying to escape from the place of the outbreak after stopping
some guy's plans. The story wouldn't go anywhere...the game
could do without it. I'm not in favor of the course of action
they took for RE5, but Wesker had to do something new IMO
he couldn't just be hanging around behind-scenes collecting
whatever he deems as a requirement for some future
inconclusive plan...it would "The Never Ending Story".
They just didn't execute ideas for him very well.

I would just like to give props to the VA for Wesker in this game
though, it was full of spirit and some interesting lines without
the whole story "World domination" counter-part.

I dunno if his/her name was Alex, but there was obviously someone named Wesker because IIRC it says in the Wesker file that the project was named after them. It's probably nothing special. If it's important and Capcom brings it back in some aspect, then that's really stupid.

Nicholai would be a good villian, but I suppose he is also getting pretty old too. He also lacks the scientific knowledge that Wesker and Birkin possessed so I can't really see him posing a world-wide threat. I don't know, I guess I'd rather them just create a new arc than keep dragging on the old story like a crippled dog, digging up deceased characters, re-visting Raccoon, etc. I loved the original storyline/characters but sometimes you just need to quit while the going's still good.
