There's a lot that could be done with her. She's way too mysterious to just sweep under the bed. She's not like Rebecca or Barry or the other characters with questions surrounding their whereabouts/situations. Those characters served their purpose. Ada is still shrouded in secrecy, and a full game should be devoted to fleshing out her motives and loyalties.

I am posting this on behalf of myself and my friends we all want this game to be made.

Resident Evil 6(or whatever title you choose.)

Gameplay: The style shown of what RE4 could of been but when you go to aim it drops to over the shoulder, that way if zombies are in game it gives you the chance for that beautiful headshot.

Plot: Chris and Sheeva get back from Africa , Chris contacts Leon who is working with the goverment to pull some info and files on Tri-Cell branches across the globe so Chris and the normal cast can find out who else is involved with the Tri-Cell branch that turned and also if any others are following suite, and along the way find out what some of the other characters are doing and I know this maybe a stretch but maybe have the option to pick what is said and depending on what is said some characters join up with chris and therefore changing the ending of the story.

The Atmoshpere needs to be creepy also with a tone of who can you trust as well, co-op will be in it but not like 5 where you have to have a partner at all times, and the main bad guy or branch would be Sea-Shell or whatever the branch was Ada was working for. and also flush out the "Missing Name." in Spencers diary about Umbrella members.

And it will flush out Hunk and his story some more.( he would have his own Assignment hunk type game.)

Anything anyone would like to add would make it all the better and the characters who you can play as are:

Chris Redfield, Clair Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Ada Wong, Jill Valentine, Rebecca Chambers, Carlos Olivera, Barry Burton, Hunk, Josh (BSAA), Nicholai Ginovaef, and Bruce McGivern, and Ark Thompson.

Also include Mercs which can be played with four players.

This would be a dream but bring the point system over and it can be used to make custom characters and earn points to what they wear and what guns and upgrades you can get and those characters and be used in a Outbreak style game.

Any comments would be nice even if you don't like it I understand, its something I would love to see happen.

^ Maybe a side story, like an Outbreak game except with main characters.

What? are you saying you don't play Games because of the Gameplay? Why else would you play a game other than the gameplay?

If you want a story read a book or watch a movie. Games should be focused on gameplay, with story as a less important thing.

RE is in the sorry state it's in today because they tried to implement an overall story which was a huge mistake. It would have been better with no story.

A video game does not and will never need a story line or and overall story arc to be great. There is an abundance of proof for this, does the burnout series for instance have a story? No, but it has cool gameplay with lots of car crashes! And that is why people but the game. Who gives a fuck about the story? Of coarse if you do think up of a good story from the get go, and have it all planed out form the beginning like with MGS, then sure have a story and a story arc. It will greatly ad to your game. But it is not a necessity though, the only game where story is a necessity are RPG's. RE is not an RPG. Sometimes trying to implement an overall story arc can actually hurt a game series like how RE is now. Also this doesn't mean that there has to be no story at all, that would be stupid too. It could be like the Indiana Jones films, none of them have an overall story arc, they are all stand alone films that only have a small story arc exclusive to each film but have the same characters though. I think this would go much better with the RE series that a huge story arc going on for many games. The classic RE games were basically this almost. there was no real immediate connection, just the same characters and same background story's like Umbrella. But now capcom has fucked everything up and tried to include an overall story while they were already half way through the series, made a bunch of stupid retcons, pissed everyone of and changed everything up and ruined almost all of it's characters and ruined any chance of a good future game coming out.

That might be nice but it would also demystify Ada a lot, and i fear it will be the same as what MGS4 did with Vamp. I would rather both Ada and HUNK to never fully be explored or uncovered. Or else it will ruin them. Besides your imagination is better than capcoms, they can make a character look mysterious but once you find out what there actually doing there gonna seem boring cause capcom are bad story writers.

I would just rather capcom stay with the current cast, and maybe have Rebecca and Barry return too.

My first playthroughs of games are always rushed. Why? I'm not focusing on gameplay. I'm interested in the storyline. I wanna beat the game to see the events unfold, to fight the final boss, to see the ending. After that, I have all the time in the world to focus on all the gameplay aspects and finite details. It depends on the game, but I have to say I enjoy story the most as well.

I do like to read and watch movies. Story's in games are fine but they shouldn't be the main focus unless it's an RPD i think. Other wise you get shit like RE5 happening with every game suddenly trying to have a story line.

I am opposite, my first play through is always my longest. It took me three weeks just to finish MGS3 because i was either A talking to Para-Medic or B marveling at the luscious surroundings is awe while slowly exploring every inch of jungle habitat. The only game i ever rushed was RE5 cause i hated the gameplay in that anyway and just wanted to know about Jill. But usually I take my sweet time and enjoy a game at a leisurely pace and go back and back track around for fun and play around with the gameplay, and take in all the lovely scenery before moving on.

Yes, why else play games for other than the actual playing of the game?

Some of my favorite games have almost no story at all.

And generally games with little to no story have the best gameplay of all, better than games with story's. I still play games of Star Wars Battlefront years and years after buying it, the gameplay in that is epicly fun. Better then any story ever. Some of the greatest funnest games ever made have no story at all. I mean COD4 online is epic but has no story at all. Why play it other than gameplay?

The reason i replay games after playing through them once is because the gameplay is fun.

RE3 is my favorite RE game because it's the most focused on gameplay and least on story.

                      omg...

im not trying to be a dick but seriously?

COD has a story line thus the option in the main menu -story mode
no online game has a story unless its co-op.

alot of people play games cause of the story.

but lets not talk about it here i already made a thread for it.

Great gameplay and graphics are almost expected when buying and playing a game. Story is just as important because if RE didn't have a story,as fucked up as it is, this site probably wouldn't exist. So when I play an RE game I expect the gameplay to be great but I'm playing it for the story.

^ My thoughts exactly. I've always been such a big fan of RE because of the story. Sure, there's been plenty of games out there that have had better graphics/controls sometimes, but the RE storyline is what always reeled me back in and kept it my favorite series. Besides, I couldn't really care less for graphics when it comes to RE. I mean, it's nice to have a game that's easy on the eyes, but I'd much rather play a PS1 game because the stories were so good back in those days. If the story was up to par with that of RE1,2 & 3...hell I'd have no problem paying 60 bucks for a new RE title that has the graphics of a PS1 game.

I'm lazy and just going ahead and posting without reading everything but the main post. If RE continues it'll just become mroe and more like the godforsaken movies.... my apologies to those who enjoy the movies. But yeah, going downhill, I hope it at least can die with honor, just shotgun this broken legged horse out of it's misery.

It seems less and less likely that'll happen, though. RE5 got universally abused on account of not being one thing nor another, and trying to do everything failed badly. The idea that they also advertised it as, 'Fear you can't forget' then forget the fear didn't go unnoticed this time.

If you check out the stuff for Darkside Chronicles at least some of Capcom seemed to have twigged fighting for the action market is a loosing battle and they're trying to bring horror back in DSC. While a rail shooter isn't ideal, hopefully the ideas will flow over to the next game. Maybe get something in the vein of 3.5.
