I'm not sure if there others as this the only one I know about with beta 2 I think they removed all the violence such as easier belly decapitations and the tearing of flesh to reveal bone on arms etc.

They were at a good start with Beta v1. But they lowered the gore level. I can see it.

They didn't rule it out in a recent interview, but somehow I doubt it'll happen. Unless we demand it along with 1.5 while holding key Capcom minions for ransom...

yha i dont think a remake for 2 is gonna happen. If it does though it isnt any time soon.

i have that disc. it came with the PlayStation Official UK mag dated April 1998.

Anyone else having trouble running this demo on PS2? It just won't load. The other games on the demo runs fine. It's not just that my disc is scratched, I have four versions; UK, French, Australian, and Italian (Aussie and Italian come with the same disc, Euro Demo 31). None of them will run the RE2 demo on the disc.

It works on my PS1, but there's this weird error when it starts, on all my discs. The Virgin "eye logo" hangs, and Leon says something, "They case was apparently closed thanks to the efforts of STARS members Chris Redfield and Jill..", and then I get the "start demo" screen, and everything's pure bliss. Anyone else experienced this, or are my consoles just frakked up?

It was probably released in other regions too don't limit your search to just the Australian OPSM was worldwide.

The French doesn't follow the other Euro Demo numbers, they have their own Euro Demo series. The French demo disc with RE2 is titled "Euro Demo 21 FRA", and the cardboard sleeve says PlayStation Magazine Disc 21. So 01851 doesn't contain RE.

This is the demo I remember playing with the timer. I talked about this ages ago on Bioflames and no one believed me, I was right lol.

I don't know if I still have that demo though, I think allot of my old PSX demo's have been thrown out. I gotta clear out my attic some when though so who knows, may find it up there.
