Hey guys, I work in a charity shop and today I got a nice surprise when a carrier bag full of PS1 games came in, most were the usual kids games but in the middle of all them were a couple of interesting things.

    This for a start.

It's a very late demo version, in fact it's the retail version timed to 10 minutes before re-sets as far as I can tell, the only difference I can find from the retail version so far is the timer at the top of the screen, it uses the same in-game font and colour as the other timers in the main games.

IF any of the completists out there wants it for their collection just let me know I don't want anything for it, just want it to go to a good home.

The only date I can find on the cover is 1998, can anybody say just how close to the release of the game it's from?

Yeah i remember this. Me and my mate skipped a day off school going in every possible different direction you could within ten minutes. Ah, the memories...

    "Well I've got 104 friends."

I wonder if its possible to remove the 10-min timer with a gameshark or similar device. It would be interesting to see how much of the game is on the disc, or any possible beta items/locations that may possibly be on the disc. Im assuming that this demo is a later build than beta 1 or 2? If thats the case than im doubtful about beta items/locations, but who knows.

If you got the other re 2 preview from the Directors Cut,there will be some differences between final game and the demo version

there is couple of diffrences in the demo version of RE2 that came with DC and the regular game of RE2 but right now the only ones i remember are
1.Leon's profile picture when in inventory
2.shorter path to the RPD (you dont go through the basket ball court you just go straight down that path and insted of the zombies busting open the cage door to the basketball court you just go straight down the path and you end up on the right side of the RPD with the firetruck and cop cars and the public bus you go through in the final version of RE2

^Sweet man, I don't remember any of that (the last time I played it was at a blockbuster before RE2 even came out lol). I ordered a copy of RE: DC a few days ago so it should be getting here soon, I had to order it since my disc no longer works. However, the copy I owned was the one that didn't come with a RE2 demo. Didn't you hear a Cat or something instead of Kendo screaming when you leave the gunstore?

Oh ok lol. For some reason I remembered hearing a sound effect like a cat jumping out of a garbage can instead of Kendo being attacked. Strange...lol.

there are many more differences like other keys, missing item boxes, the rpd officer is missing, the glasses from thw windows where the first licker comes are not broken, the first room, bevor the liker comes is a little bit different because there isnt a ladder, only a wodden box....

Attention:The Peview and the Trial are the same demos, with one big difference:
