Do you have the extremely rare PC demo of Resident Evil 1? I've been looking for this one..

^ Yeah, that's correct, but they were released (with some magazines?) in disc form too.

The PC demo of the first one is extremely rare which makes me believe that it was never released by Capcom through the internet, perhaps it was distributed through other means like a magazine or bundled with a graphics card?

If anyone who has it would be soooo kind to upload it.....

The demo has been for a while on the net. I was told that it existed in disc form but I've never seen a picture of it. Is it ok to upload demos here?

There's two re1 pc demo's ones german which I don't know the source of and the over one came from some pc mag like pc format or pc gamer.

Is it ok to upload demos here?

I think THIA follows the rule that if something is extremely OLD & it's not a FULL game/movie/soundtrack/etc that you can BUY it's ok to post it.

The rule of thumb is, indeed, you never needed to buy it to get it (demos) or it's a non-retail version of the game (betas) then you can upload it. Full games and betas pre-release are a different matter.

@ kevstah2004: I'm aware that there's a german retail version but I've never heard before about a German demo for PC. Do you have more info on this matter?

I just checked it. Interestingly while the full version had the uncut FMVs this has the cencored ones!

Oh! that reminds me!

The Preview I have has a couple more differences from the retail version, on the title screen it says Preview below the 2 in the title, and has NO FMV, the intro and the first Licker incounter are missing!

The disc has a couple of small scratches and the case needs replacing.

So who still wants it?
