I'm indifferent towards Rebecca. I don't hate her, but she's never been one of my favorite characters or anything. Though, admittedly, I do like her personality, because she's different from the other "heroes" in the series. I think there's room to showcase her again, but if these choose not to, I don't think it's a huge loss.

Then I imagined it with Rebecca instead and I lol'd.

I love Rebecca, and have ever since i first saw her lol.

I think capcom should bring her back and make her the protagonist as the next RE game, possibly the PSP one since that looks to be in the classic style.


Anyways I find it annoying that Rebecca is so much ignored by capcom, and that all her new appearances are just remakes of her old ones. I mean she was in RE1, then they remade that with Remake. Then she was in RE0, then they remade that and Remake with UC. She's in a photo in RE2 as well. But other than that nothing new.

I have my own fan fiction story of what happened to her, and ill make it canon one day if i ever make RE games.

lol I would love it if she were the lead in RE6 in search for Billy or something. I doubt that will happen and I doubt anyone would want to buy that game other than myself. It would be awesome if she came back as some sort of badass (because she hasn't been seen in 10 years so its likely she could of gotten training...). She could help people as well with her medical skills. It would be cool to have a puzzle where she has to actually heal someone as in stitch someone up or combine medicine in order to help the person.

It would be interesting if the bad guy was Sherry or Steve since we haven't seen those two in a while. It wouldn't have to be just her as the main character either. It could be all of the new BSAA fighting against them.

I hate to say it, but I don't think there's much hope for her. Just from how it all seems to add up:

It is very well possible that it's canon for her to die in the original RE, despite her shining lead role in RE0. Especially considering that it's canon for Barry to live. RE1 can only end (technically, I guess) with either the partner Barry or Rebecca. In RE2, she is only mentioned as a recruit, so that sadly also takes place before the events of RE0/RE1. Then in RE3, pretty much everyone except Carlos and Rebecca have the Epilogues. I only just realized that she doesn't get one for herself, and I guess Carlos was too new of a character to give a crap about. That alone makes me a little suspicious that she might have died. And also as someone mentioned above, if she was alive and still in Raccoon, Nemmy would of gotten her. If not, and she went on to either A: Have a normal life or B: Stay in anti-bio weapon organizations... then why no Epilogue? The circle of confusion and realization continues... Poor Rebecca. Fucking CAPCOM.

I just realized... You have a REALLY good point there... I REALLY hope capcom just fucked up and didn't mention her and will in the future... If not then my favorite character has been dead for quite some time and I didn't even know it

They should at LEAST let us know if she did die though.

I wouldn't worry too much. If they kill a main character Capcom will milk it for every ounce of dramatic goodness they can...then bring said character back a few games later.

You have a good point there leggy. But wasn't it confirmed that Jill, Chris, Barry and Rebecca survived the mansion incident?

At the bottom left you can see Rebecca getting out of the chopper, and these things are cannon I think. So I don't think Rebecca's dead.

Plus if Nemesis had killed her I think capcom would have showed it. Cause It would have been more money in there pocket if they did. And made RE3 better, or with added plot points anyway.

didn't it also say in the history of resident evil in 5 she was listed as one of the survivors? and i like too think of it she did what she did in the sd perry novels she left raccoon with another branch of stars and went off too stop other umbrella complexs from producing bioweapons.

Unless dead people can write reports, Rebecca survived mansion incident. In RE2 N64 version you can find her report about Billy Cohen. Also, she's mentioned as one of survivors in "Mail to the Chief" file.
And I really doubt Capcom would kill her off-screen. They've showed Brad's death - the character we didn't even see in RE1 - why wouldn't they show us a character that player could control in previous game then?

I think shes alive if only for the fact that she was promoted to Alpha team after the incident. (Ex file: her signature says shes in Alpha team)
