Is Darkside Chronicles On-Line?

I've looked about the Interweb thingy and the site here and can't figure out 100% one way or the other!

Has it been mentioned by anybody official if Darkside Chronicles will have a 2 player co-op mode.

And if not WHY not?

No, it will not have online co-op mode. However you'll be able to upload your score points into a global ranking. It was confirmed on an interview with Masachika Kawata this week, you can find it here: http://www.the-horror.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5561

Thanx for the info and the link Ridley W. Hayes, but that really does bite doesn't it!

I have gotten to like 2 player co-op over the last year or so on some of the top 360 games. So when it's not included in the games I like, it's always a bit of a downer.

It would have been nice to play this game co-op online as the game is made for unlike RE 5 where it seemed forced and was only fun with a another person playing.

Just a ranking system online. You can play with a partner on screen but with a second player at home ^^

As much as it is unfortunate that there will NOT be online co-op, at least we have a scoring system.
