I voted for Code Veronica, even though it's pretty much tied with 5. Though, every soundtrack has at least one track on it that just makes me ♥_♥

Even though RE 2 is my favorite game in the series, I have to go with the original. The songs are just classic and really set the tone for the rest of the games.

RE3. It's my favourite so far. It's melodic and agressive. There's a track in the Church from RE0 which reminds me to the style of RE3... and it's so cool.

I agree that it was well done, and it fit the game's atmosphere perfectly. However, most of it is stuff I wouldn't want to listen to unless I was playing the game. There's a few exceptions, of course, like Neptune, Deception, Save Theme, and Tyrant (2), but for the most part I find it to be background music - only enjoyable if I'm doing something other than focusing 100% on the music.

A lot of the pieces from RE2, RE3, CVX, the Outbreaks, RE5, and a few from RE4 and RE0 are really exciting to me. Some of the tracks from RE2, CVX, and RE5 have an orchestrated feel, which I find very interesting because a lot of different sounds are usually going on at once.

But hey, to each their own. If there's one ambient piece I do like from Remake, it has to be "Rush of Fear," which I believe plays in certain rooms when you return to the mansion.

          Mass production? Ridiculous!

I voted for 2, every song is a classic to me and the credits song is a nice change of pace.

I'm surprised to see Code Veronica in second place atm, not to put anyone down who likes it because that's your preference and fair play to it, but I found the soundtrack to be rather tacky overall and very B-movie'ish. Maybe I was expecting too much after RE2&3's amazing scores and I had been playing Blue Stinger prior before CV's release which has one of the best and most epic game soundtracks ever IMO.

Still with that being said, Code Veronica has some choice tracks such as the various versions of the Ashford twins theme and my fave save room theme from any RE game, "A Moment of Relief".

It's almost like you can dissect the history of the Ashfords and everything else just by listening to the music. It's amazing.
                  QTF.

A third runner up, would probably be Outbreak File 1.

                    I agree.

                    Really?! Which tracks?

Well C.V came close, but I went with Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
RE3 bought a solider/survivor feel to the soundtrack. The theme for the Nemesis would always stay in our minds but there are so many others like the merc's mini game, when choosing one of the three.
The uptown/downtown themes went well with what has happend to the city. When certain events happen like zombies breaking into the petrol station and the place about to go up in smoke. The clock tower, along with the little music box puzzle, now that stays in your head.
But the theme that hits home to me is the fight outside the clocktower, soon followed by Nemesis Type 2 coming through the wall and landing in the downstairs of the clocktower, that tune sets up for the battle with a new form of this Nemesis that won't leave you alone, even though Jill isn't around, you feel as Carlos, you have to fight to save her and stop him from getting to her in the other room.

Honestly, it's a tie between 2, CODE: Veronica and 5 for me, but since I have to make a choice, I'd say C:V. It sounds so dramatic (and, yes, kinda cheesy) that I couldn't help but love it. The piano version of "Berceuse" still gives me chills.

For me it was between Veronica and Five and Five won.

The reason I love CVx so much was because.. well, it was such a change. It was darker, and more gothic. I enjoyed 5's too. It was very epic. But, most of it felt so... action-y. It was VERY well done, but when I listen to it, I prefer to think of it as not a Bio soundtrack. REmake's and 2's also are favorites of mine.
