Oh man, the first time I heard that, I was literally speechless. It was so heavy handed and out of place, I couldn't believe it.

      Complete.....Global....Saturation..... Raaagh!

well aware of that one unfortunately

also, about the wesker fight in the hanger, i'm sure most of the people have gotten this, but it is possible to knock off wesker's glasses by finishing a QTE "fight" that can randomly trigger or just by beating him to a pulp a lot.

Agree. Gives Chris more character, IMO.

@Dot50Cal: Wow, didn't even notice that during my numerous playthroughs. Nice find and good picture you've made there.

AJ, I can't seem to knock his glasses off when the QTE prompts appear in the last fight. Is it just when a certain damage threshold is met? They popped off when I was just shooting him a bunch.

Gideon, for that to occur you just need to be around him a bit. He does it randomly. Got some hilarious footage last night of him being such a cheap bastard (combo'ed me with like SEVEN gunshot sets, each time putting me into dying before being resuscitated by Sheva).

it's happened at random occasion's for me, maybe there's some kind of damage threshold, and if you trigger the QTE after that, it has a higher chance of the glasses being knocked off.

Heh, I guess I'll keep at it

We should probably make this a general purpose "Special events" thread.

In the tanker, where the rocket storage boxes are piled up (just after the JJ fight), you can activate a quick scene where three of the spider-like enemies burst from a cargo container. When you get to this area, ignore the three majini that fire thr rockets and attempt to run past them. Once you drop down to the lower level, they will burst out of the container to slow your progress. Also inside the container is a Progenitor experiment victim who thrashes around a bit.

^ holy shit that looks like a couple of those dog aliens from Alien 3 running out of the container.

also, probably THE most obvious one (but since it hasn't been mentioned here so far :p), the very final boss fight (after the rock-punching segment) can be beaten in two ways, by either shooting the hell out of Wesker, or by triggering an awesome knife-attack QTE by ganging up on him from both sides when the glowing heart is exposed.

AJ, did we ever find out what the hell happened at the end fight with Wesker when we played? Remember, he would just keep killing Chris despite both of us pressing the QTE's? Me and Alzaire had the same problem, but only on Professional mode.

I think Chris needs a certain amount of health to survive. I always use a first aid spray before the QTE.

Yeah, we did that but his health just kept going down when he jumped on his back.

While Chris is holding Wesker, his health continually depletes. That's why it's practically impossible to defeat Wesker using that QTE on Professional, because Chris' health drops like a rock. Literally, in a manner of seconds, if that, he'll be down to dying status.

Also, I think this is pretty widely known, but since I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, on the cliffs before the Popokarimu boss fight, there's a portapotty that has a Majini in it. When you walk up to it, you'll see the interact button pop up on screen with a "?". If you press the button, the character will knock on the door and a Majini will pop out.

Also, you can sit on both the chair where you face the second Uroboros and the captain's chair on the tanker. Chris and Sheva have different poses for each chair, and there's some text that scrolls underneath. I know when Chris sits in the captain's chair, it says something like "Always wanted to be a captain, but now's not the time for that."

as mentioned already, Chris's health continuously drains as long as you're attached to Wesker, so you need to be quick about it or be at full health before you attempt that QTE, and since we were playing Veteran, it was draining a wee bit faster than normal. (and if i remember correctly, we were out of any kind of healing stuff at that point, and i was carrying the level 1 equipment just because the game is a dick at allowing you to swap guns :p)

When Chris sits in the chair it says something along the lines of "I don't want to even think about what this was used for."

I guess the health doesn't drain in Amateur mode? I was going through that for cutscenes yesterday and I didn't get any health damage.

If you hang around the BSAA member's body (the one who staggers out then falls to the ground), Sheva or Chris will comment on his wounds and his outfit.

When playing as Sheva, have Chris boost you to grab the key that unlocks the old shack (the one that has the Ithaca shotgun in it). While there, look off to the left and you'll see a Majini "air boxing". Shoot him, and he'll fall to his death.

If you kill the first Uroboros monster with your own weapons (maybe grenades too?), it will drop the same ring that the Executioner does. Just make sure the death blow is by your hand. Also, you will get a different scene of the creature dying depending on if you kill it inside the furnace or outside.
