The above pictures were taken with a cellphone camera. They are grainy, but especially in the second one, it is obvious that they are taken of a television screen, and should be ample proof for now that I own 1.5.
Allow me to introduce myself; I am TheCollector (I am choosing to be known by an alias rather than a real name to avoid a legal dispute) and I have recently purchased an early beta disc of Resident Evil 1.5 from a Japanese contact.
The disc is an early beta, one of the first builds I believe as the game is unable to be completed as is (the final areas of the lab are simply unaccesible beyond the B7 floor) and the game uses RE1 animations and gun fire/damage sound effects rather than later RE2 styled ones. Also, there is no voice acting in the game.
I've chosen what appears to me to be the most active RE1.5 oriented community currently, and I will henceforth associate solely with The Horror Is Alive.
Firstly, I want to make it known that as of this time I am unable to consider releasing the game as the contact I used obtained the game through a rather unofficial means and the game is still covered (rather extensively I might add) by Capcom's copyrights. I am simply not able to distribute the game at this time, however, I felt that the game should still be shared with it's fans, I plan to release videos (once I figure out a means to do so in a clearer format than phone camera) and more pictures, plus in the meantime I can answer any questions about the game you may have.
And yes, I'll confirm the most prevalent rumors; computers are used as save points in 1.5 rather than typewriters, Memory Cards serve as Ink Ribbons, and you can obtain and mix Pills rather than Herbs.
