The intro video of my PC version is in all black and white and has the most gory bits either replaced with newspaper clippings or cut out altogether.

The character intros has a still of Chris which has action shots of him overlayed, NO SMOKING.

And the first zombie FMV cuts from about here to the close up of the zombie turning his head, NO head falling to the floor after he's bitten through the neck!!!

Ouch, that means the US version is still missing the uncut content. I'm glad I didn't drop any money on this yet. I want RE on PC but the prices for these games can get insane. What a shame to since the box says it is uncut.

I bought it of ebay and the seller claimed it was uncut. I got it in the mail and it was cut. I filed a claim but his paypal account was empty so now I'm stuck with it..

My PC version is cut too. Also, in the cut version, it is not possible to get the Minimi and MAC-10 machine guns. The rocket launcher is rewarded instead. However, the MGs are still in the game files, all you have to do is hex edit a save to put one in your inventory.

As for the Xplosiv/Big Bytes RE3 PC version, Mercenaries is there. However, you need to complete RE3 once, just like in the PSX version. Beats me why they make you do this in this altered version.

Oh, and those FPS limiter solutions (the JAVA GUI and MarkGrass' program) don't work properly. For MarkGrass' program you need two soundcards. I tried setting up VDMSound to emulate a seperate soundcard, but MG's program wouldn't pick it up.
