Because I've played the original RE1 upwards of twenty times, and every time I've found each of the main characters to be underdeveloped and far from anything resembling "fascinating."

If anything, "Charlie" is the best actor of the bunch...much better than Inezh, Sergio, or whomever were the turds that portrayed Barry & Becky.

I can understand not liking characters (God knows I bash on RE4+ Leon enough), but your dislike of Chris - or should I say your reasons for it - are just as perplexing as your unadulterated fanaticism toward the female version of him, aka Jill "exposed vag" Valentine.

    Anyway, back to the topic:

PROS: At the time of its release, I had never played anything like it. It was probably one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've ever had.

CONS: Gave hope to bad actors everywhere. You're welcome, Vince Diesel.
    Opinions.

And I think Inezh and Sergio and whomever did Barry are much better Voice Actors than Charlie.

I think it would take great skill to make yourself sound has bad as Barry's VA did. I think it was on purpose. It was melodramatic.

BTW, I don't think it's her Vagina that shows in RE5. It's just part of her costume.

Who designed her costume, John Waters?

As for voice acting I think that Barry (it's also his real name) did a really good job playing his part as well as "Charlie", although I wasn't too fond of Inezh and Sergio. I know alot of people are fans of Sergio but to each their own.

A part of her costume? For what exactly? Is it some sort of exhaust vent?

That's her gash showing, plain and simple. You know, placed there by the same perverts who designed the Pachinko iteration that runs around in slutty attire with no undergarments while fighting the undead in a special law enforcement unit. Good ol' Japanese perverts.

          She has to urinate somehow.

I still don't think capcom would do that. Only Kojima would go that far. If it was her Vagina, we would know by the instant RE5 Banned in Australia and US headlines. Anything with nudity gets a ban.

They would have seen this, not even Oblivion got away with hiding things, and it was recalled.

I guess you missed in RE4 where you can look up Ashley's skirt. Or the part in RE3 where Jill dresses like a street walker. Or Ada's attire in RE4. Or Alexia Ashford being nude in RECV. Should I think of more instances?

Well, if you are the barometer of Australia, then I can completely understand how such an obvious thing was missed by the review board. You are obtuse beyond measure.

The item in question is hidden pretty well, and can only be found by examining her statuette closely. Even though it is turned around backwards, anyone with the slightest knowledge of the female anatomy knows exactly what the hell the strange looking object is...pink in color, with all the appropriate folds...residing between her legs and in stark contrast to her purple battlesuit.

And hey, since you are a girl, you should know better than anyone.

As for it being the object of a ban...I can't imagine that the game, rated 17+ in most of the world, would be whisked off shelves for such an obscure thing that is just the polygonal representation of a vagina.

But yeah, please take off your blinders and see that it IS indeed her private part on display.

As a matter of fact, yes, it is. It's an exhaust vent to let out the reeking, repugnant odors coming from her vaginal area. It even has a filter, though not one of those nice ones that include air fresheners.

Pros: Original game, actually scary at times as a kid, hilariously funny at times as an adult, spawned many good games afterards. Hunters. <3

Cons: A certain campiness to the voice acting. Graphics of course are a bit dated, but are still decent for its age.

It's not hidden that well. If you have played Oblivion, the rating board found one bloodied up body in a dark corner in some random dungeon somewhere and wanted to recall it and re-rate it for having gore now. Which was stupid. All the Australian gaming laws are made my morons who think the country is inhabited by children. One law stated that any kind of nudity in a video game that is a reward, or an incentive to do something. Is a banable offense and will be taken of the shelves. I know, it's a stupid law.

They would have found Jill's Vagina in an instant, I mean if they searched the entire map of Oblivion, they are gonna notice Jill's legs. It's just a vent.

I'm a bit confused as to why you listed "cheesy dialogues" under CONS...

I can't even take the original RE seriously, and for me that's a good thing. I'm sure Capcom was going for B-movie cheesy anyway, and those voice actors really were amazing for being so awful. Think of how many of those lines are now instant classics!

Regarding Jill's zero-G suit in RE5, I'd be willing to bet that the figure of her does indeed show her vagina. I mean, come on... you know that a few guys over at Capcom probably found it hilarious and put it in as an "easter egg" of sorts, since they knew that the perverted masses of video game fans would immediately examine her crevices after purchasing the figure. Of course, Capcom would never admit it. Personally I think it's immature and stupid, but whatever.

                      Mass production? Ridiculous!
