Right at the start, before you go to see Barry or anything, keep exiting the dining hall until Barry says something about "losing your heart, that's not like you". When that happens and you talk to Barry, the zombie will burst through the door, Barry will shoot it and Kenneth's legs will be eaten. This should make the difficulty easier. The actual cheat code as well is the holding the D Pad right thing until the "Classic Mode" or "Rebirth Mode" text goes green, and then you'll not die as easily, and whenever you pick up any ammo or anything, you'll get twice the amount, like 30 handgun bullets a time.

Or you could do the trick when you keep exiting the door in the dining hall before you see the zombie and when you see Kenneth his legs are gone. Supposed to make it easier.

[QUOTE=CrimsonElder;162193]I'll try this, didnt know it existed. Thanks.
EDIT: I managed to make it to the very end of the game, I have saved it right before the second Tyrant fight however my health is on danger and I have no green herbs only several red and blue. Im not even going to attempt to fight Tyrant on the helipad. Looks like I have to start all over again :-( Think I'll try Classic mode next time Rebirth really takes the piss with the touchpad fight sequences.
EDIT 2: I restarted the game on classic mode and completed it in 2 and half hours. I actually filled the item box with heal and ammo and such. Thats a first time I've ever done that in any Re game. Much prefer it on classic mode. I forgot how much I loved this game since I havent played it in many of years. Anytime I decide to play Re1 I usually opt for Remake. Also sorry for the double post, dont know how that happened can you delete the one above if you have to? Thanks.Last edited by CrimsonElder; 07-26-2010, 09:53 AM.

From what I understand, Kenneth J. Sullivan’s uncensored decapitation can only be seen in Biohazard (PS1 - Japan), Resident Evil (PS1 - Germany), & Resident Evil (PC - USA). What about Biohazard: Director’s Cut / Director’s Cut Dual Shock Ver. (PS1 - Japan) and Resident Evil: Director’s Cut (PS1 - Germany)? Were there any changes made? How about the Sega Saturn version?
@kevstah2004 - I noticed that in the “PC Demo Download” thread started by Anders that the German demo also shows Kenneth’s uncensored death. Is this the only one?
Lastly, does anyone really know why they censored Kenneth’s death? I can certainly see why they made some changes to the introduction, but the decapitation scene just seems rather tame to me, especially when you compare it to some of the in-game deaths. I’m just curious. Thanks in advance, guys. I appreciate the help.
Only Biohazard psx version has it as far as I know along with the pc games and deadly silence, all Biohazard releases are uncensored but the prologue appears in black & white apart from the pc version.

Sounds like the touch screen is messed up. You could try recalibrating the screen by going into the DS options.
