      Dot, are you noticing any gameplay difference between the versions? I remember reading awhile ago that there was speed difference between the versions.

        I haven't touched the others yet, I'm still on RE1 US release. When I move on I'll be sure to report anything as I go here. I do recall that theres something called PAL slowdown on the PAL copies of the game. Maybe Rob can report on that though, cause I'm not really sure what happens. Maybe something to do with the framerate conversion?

          Yeah. PAL copies run at something like 5/6th the speed of the NTSC.
          IIRC it's the ratio between the framerates of the versions. 25:30 (ie. 5:6)

            I got the Dum-dums using an Action Replay. Same shit, different names except they sound slightly muffled if I recall correctly..

                Right now I'm playing Zero, which in turn will lead me up to 1. I just got my Vjump guilde for my japanese saturn edition. Looking forward to a Chris speed run soon. Don't know if I should play saturn one or gamecube re-make of 1. Or both. Hmm..

                After that it's dreamcast versions of 2 & 3 for the win!

                      I swear I've gotten this scene with my inventory full and when the screen cut to the inventory to ask if you will take the acid rounds, it instead said I could not hold anymore items.

                      This whole idea of figuring out what triggers specific scenes is something I've always wondered about. Same with the DumDum bullets, which back when I had a old grey PSX w/ a gameshark pro I found them too, I believe the description for them was the tips were hollowed out. But how to unlock them in game I never figured out.

                            Hmmm... it's been a while since I played so maybe you are right... The only thing I am completely positive about, is that if your inventory is full you won't get the acid rounds.

                              I'll try it out now Going through as Jill again. I'll explore the West Wing first, like I did on this last play. But I'll trigger the Shotgun trap to see if that activates Barry sticking close to Jill.
