They work fine with the US copies of the game. RE: DC saves (SLUS-00551/90009) work fine with RE: DC dual shock (SLUS-00747) and vice versaOriginally posted by Dot50Cal View PostI wonder if non dual shock saves are compatible with the dual shock version..Last edited by alf717; 01-04-2010, 03:22 PM.

Nope, just as the gif shows - they come out regardless. Between these and some other setups, faster zombies, the fact that Hunters are already hard enough on the regular game let alone this one, and Chris lower health amount in the arranged game, the arranged game is probably the hardest "standard" mode in any title in the series (some exceptions being the Nightmare mode in RE2 Dreamcast and some of the bonus modes in the REmake).Originally posted by Stars1356 View PostDamn I thought those crows only came out if you look at the heliport? I remember in the regular version you don't really need to go in that room.
Dot - The other really bad spot like the crows one can be outside the Attic space where Yawn is, although you obviously passed it.
They setup some fast moving zombies just out of shot with the camera angles to ambush you, and even if you're able to make it to the stairs leading to Yawn the zombies can be fast enough and will spit bile at you as you climb... and as you're aware Chris' heath is seriously gimped in the arrange mode too. If you're not ready for it, it sucks.
I think the other area change that is odd is the underground tunnel section, where there are Hunters instead of zombies IIRC. Thank god at least it's usually easy to hear them before they appear. There is probably a few more I'm forgetting. I think there is another setup in the underground and in the lab at least.
Jerome - Thats what I recall reading too for the modes. US easy switched arrange is the equivilent of the Japanese one, and the normal is like all other US standards, generally harder than Japan.
As for the 3 zombie thing, that really only counts for using the handgun. If you're using anything else, it's the same level of ammo. It rewards you for making use more of your handgun than say the shotgun on zombies. I can't recall how "random" the handgun thing is though, because I know sometimes you'll have it happen twice in a row. *POP* *POP*Last edited by Rombie; 01-04-2010, 08:14 PM.

I've been skimming on and off through this playthrough, but is Deadly Silence going to be part of the RE1 madness?
It might as well be on classic mode even though those RE4 tweaks will be in it regardless....still....quick knife, 180 turn, and instant reload goes a long way.
Yeah, you're going to hate RE1 when all this is done Dot.

I think Dot50Cal wants to record everything, so without any proper way to capture REOriginally posted by Smiley View PostI've been skimming on and off through this playthrough, but is Deadly Silence going to be part of the RE1 madness
S in action (other than wonky DS emulation), I guess that might be (temporarily) off the list at the moment.

Just out of curiosity Dot, what are you using to capture these playthroughs? Dazzle?Last edited by REmaster; 01-04-2010, 10:39 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

If you're talking about the basement of the mansion (after you go down the ladder under Trevor's grave) then yeah, there are a ton of hunters there. That was actually the point where I gave up my Arrange mode play with Chris. Fighting Yawn was bad enough, but then to go down to those impossible narrow halls with a ton of hunters, who keep taking my head off, I started to rage and gave up.

Yeah, when I went down the hole from Yawn I nearly shit my pants because there was three hunters there waiting, lol. I shoulda just blew through that room but curiosity got the better of me and I took them all out. The shotgun shells were my only prize
I'm not sure what part your talking about with this second set of crows and Bile zombies though Rob. Any pics?
I've been popping heads rather regularly with the Beretta, so its quite easy. Still can't figure out that damn fast-fire on BOB.
RE
S will be, but unfortunately we don't have a proper way to capture yet (unless emulators have advanced).
REmaster, I'm using an Intensity Pro for the PS3. For Saturn, I had to use an emulator (which has some pretty terrible input lag) since my other capture card doesn't work in Windows 7.
Wayne, don't fight them. Just run by. That usually lets you get away with just a smack of the claw from them. I was in orange caution and just chugged at him (zig zag) and he clawed me. I might also suggest playing the +ammo version of arranged by holding RIGHT on the Dpad over Arrange.
Can someone help jog my memory? I thought it was Directors Cut which had the ability to kill off the herbs in the fountain plant room? Or is that Remake that its in?Last edited by Dot50Cal; 01-05-2010, 05:56 AM.

Same here. I only replayed REmake recently after a few years off, and I know I saw it happen before then on an old background. I remember playing on the old background, and just thought "crap" when I destroyed all the herbs. I'm 95% sure it's the DS Rebirth mode (I've not tried Classic mode), because that's the only version of the original I've played recently. I'll check when I have a minute.Originally posted by Dot50Cal View PostAhhhh, Thanks Alexia. I thought I was going insane. I could have sworn I recalled seeing it happen with the old backgrounds.Last edited by Alexia_Ashford; 01-05-2010, 11:29 AM.
