I still like him better than any other RE villain, though. Although Birkin and Alexia were also really cool...

Thanks for the the compliment! But I guess I need to clear up the fact that I wasn't bashing Wesker in anyway, simply pointing out in the context of the story he's not any better than any other villian. Having said that, He IS the villian of the series. He grew along with the series, where every other villian was more or less a one-shot. He's my favorite RE character beside Jill(I just can't pick between those two, lol). But I'm not a fanboy of any calibur(which I think alot of the silly "Wesker got raped" comments stem from). I simply looked at the story in my previous posts and presented what seems to me the most logical explanations for RE5's Wesker treatmen, and his character in general. As did Jill's Boob raise some good points too.

It does suck indeed there won't be a Wesker, but its better to go out in a blaze of glory than limping along. . .

Thanks again. I hope everyone who's read it enjoyed it, along with Pikministor and Jill's Boob's posts as well. It was a team effort!(unintentionally)

No, I loved that about Wesker too, in the end. Especially emphasized with the line "I don't need anyone else" followed by the angry WALL PUNCH. The way Wesker reacted was realistic and somewhat predictable, especially since as a character he always gave off that vibe of a one-man team/someone who was very sure of himself and his abilities.

That line about "even if you win the Special Olympics, you're still retarded" or whatever, i is very appropriate for this discussion.
Every RE game is cheesy and cliche.
