  • RE:CVX 5th Anniversary question

I'll be picking up a copy of CODE Veronica for the PS2 soon, simply because my Dreamcast's controller port is messed up and would like a more accessible version of the game, even when I fix it.

Anyway, a local store has the 5th Anniversary of this, with both discs. I saw on the cover that its a Devil May Cry demo on the 2nd disc, which I knew. Is that Wesker's Report video also on the disc, or is that a different package all together? The store has the greatest hits version and this one listed at the same price so I can't really go wrong either way, but it would be nice to get the bonus vid.

Wesker's Report was never packed inside the game box, it came in a package of it's own. So unless you want the DMC demo, it doesn't really matter what you buy.

WR was given to people who pre-ordered the game, and probably anyone who bought it after release as long as a store had those DVDs in stock.

Oh ok, thanks for sorting that out. The pre-order exclusive explains my confusion.

I hate the greatest hits packaging and always get the regular version. Capcom.com also has a three pack available that has CVX, Outbreak and 4 in you are also interested in those.

I don't have broadband internet to hook my ps2 up so Outbreak wouldn't be as fun, and I already have the PS2 version of 4. But those 3 packs do look interesting, but Capcom seems pretty bent on selling as many copies of 4 as possible.

Yea I re-bought CVX a few months back because the previous disc was scratched, so than I went on ebay and picked up a copy of Wesker's Report for 20 bucks. Also, I saw the 3 pack you mentioned, I've been looking at it for quite some time but have yet to get it just because I already have all of them seperate. However, I'm sure I'll pick it up eventually when I get some extra cash just for my collection lol.

Thats what I did to a few months ago and surprising that all the games are not the greatest hits versions. CVX is a version I don't think had come out as it is neither the 5th anniversary or the great hits version, just the black label. Don't know if the black label only was ever released like that separate in the states. Maybe Anders knows.

I do have a regular black label pre-"Essentials" box listed on my site, but I'm not sure if it really exists... I don't remember what made me add it to the list.
