If it were a single person experience I would suggest that Krauser would turn evil and the final boss fight would be with him, but since it always requires two characters together Canas Renvall pretty much had it spot on.

You forgot about Manuella

Let's add: Manuela is rescued by Leon and Krauser, and Manuela then tries to eat Leon and/or Krauser. Krauser then stabs a snake and drinks some water, says "witness the flower," picks a rose and tucks it behind his ear, and then punches Manuela's head off. Leon screams her name, "MAAANNUEELLLLLLLAAAAAAAAA." As he watches Krauser get into a chopper to head to another mission, Leon's eyes well up. In a scene reminiscent of the one from I Am Legend, the helicopter crashes before Leon's eyes as a puppy licks the tears off of his face. "KRAAAUUUSSEEEEERRRRR."

Manuella jumps in for the last minute save by taking a knife or something for Leon since the viral infection in the village is related to her family's dark past.

I hope Manuella doesn't mutate. I do see Javier definitely mutating, though.

And wasn't it implied that Leon didn't actually see Krauser when the helicopter crashed? Krauser did say: "Is that what they told you?" which implies Leon heard about it from someone else. Maybe the rescue team or whoever actually confirmed it after Leon saw it go down. I dunno. No telling.

I hope it at least sheds light on how Krauser received a control plaga, which I doubt, since Resident Evil 4 isn't apart of this. It would also be nice if we could see how Krauser began to work for Wesker. For some reason, I have a feeling Wesker has a hand in Krauser's co-op with Leon in South America; possibly to retrieve some special viral agent of some sort.
