I much prefer the corporate conspiracy theme of the early games.
I just find the terrorism in third world countrys thing to be way too cheesy 90s action movie... Just my personal opinion.

I really wish It would go back to dark settings, corporate conspiracies and primarily zombies.

Has anyone else notic how the graphics on the Operation Javier scenario does not look as good as the RE2 and CV I think the problem is because it's in daylight I notice in the demos the fruits looks flat.

I have noticed this actually.
The graphics in darkside chronicles actually seem a lot worse than umbrella chronicles.

I dunno whats up with that.

Well the graphics in the RE2 and CV scenarios are pritty good it's only Javier's scenario graphics that suck I think the problem is because it's in daylight while the other 2 scenarios are in the dark.

They aren't. By comparison, Umbrella Chronicles is a downright mess. Darkside Chronicles is much more gritty and "real" than the borderline cartoon shit Umbrella Chronicles was.

And no, the graphics don't suck in the game by ANY means. Its the fucking Wii, what more do you people want?

So does pretty much everyone, but the corporate conspiracy theme is still there. The only thing that has changed is the backdrop, which has went (quite nicely in my opinion) to terrorism, which is the only logical step the series could take (RE4 tried something else, how did that turn out?). Would you rather stay in Raccoon City forever?

That was the problem with Umbrella Chronicles most of the game I say about 80% was recycled from the past Resident Evil games it's was pritty much they took the background from one stage and pasted it on to the Umbrella Chronicles while the Darkside Chronicles was bilted from the ground up and the Graphics are brillant it's only the Javier's scenario were the Graphic's are alittle off but alest this time around Capcom tryed.

What makes Umbrella Chronicles a "downright mess", considering a ton of it was ripped from the still very impressed Gamecube titles?

Probably the fact that it is ALL taken directly from those games, and in most cases, downgraded (a number of textures are halved in resolution compared to their GC counterparts).

The GC titles are not impressive in the slightest when rendered in 3D like in Umbrella Chronicles. Part of their graphical charm is that the pre-rendered backgrounds allowed for a lot more detail and better lighting.
