Does Manuela sing her song again in the game?
That hand WAS wounded by a B.O.W.... Strange coincidence.Last edited by ValentineLover; 11-18-2009, 10:17 AM.

Maybe they fused a Plaga with T-Veronica and we got that arm from RE4.Last edited by BahamutRetsu; 11-18-2009, 12:05 PM.

Originally posted by BahamutRetsu View PostBut it was not a T-veronica B.O.W. It was a T-virus creature... And yet Krauser didn't turn into a zombie. Hmm. In fact, I find strange that it's a T-virus creature in the first place. If everything Archelon told is right, then it's very puzzling. If the 1st boss was a human infected with a normal T-virus, then why it turned into this huge thing and not just a normal zombie or, if compatible, into a Tyrant. Or perhaps this is her Tyrant form? Sergei's Tyrant form looked weird too and had tentacles. And if Wesker's file is right, then it shows inner emotions of a mutated host. In this case... A huge lizard tentacle insect monster with blue eyes. Or it's another translation error and the 1st boss is a actually a T-veronica creature. Or a modified G-virus creature. If a T-virus was used on a normal human, without additional gene altering, then it's either zombie or Tyrant. In case of 1st boss, looks like a naturally compatible Tyrant. It has something from a plant though, which is puzzling... It also retained some memory and humanity, if it didn't attack Manuela and listened to her song. If Sergei was not an exception, it seems natural Tyrants retain sanity more or less. I remember Sergei could shoot linsect-like larvas too. They both have insect-like qualities.
Spoiler:
The boss (in the church) is actually Manuela's mother, aka Javier's wife. She and Manuela had a unknown illness and were administered with the virus as part of their treatment. It is possible that the illness have altered the nature of the virus. The reason why Manuela didn't mutate is because she have organ transplant regularly.

So Krauser's mutation does come from a virus and not Las Plaga? Is it explicitly shown or stated?
It didn't explain Krauser's mutation. It says that Krauser's arm never recover, (which possibly implies that his arm got paralyzed/degenerate after that, but there's no virus in him) so he goes on to find Wesker.Last edited by xfactor; 11-18-2009, 12:52 PM.

Also this whole scenario reminds me of Flashback from Outbreak File 2. Plants, fusion with plants, T-virus used as cure, and a lot of other similarities. Don't you think?

I'm personally glad they reduced the number of weapons. In UC, you had far more, but there was little differentiating the members of each specific category. Sure, they each had their own base stats, but you could hardly tell the difference between them during gameplay.
There are many more customization options with the weapons in Darkside as a result of there being fewer to choose from. Besides, all the bases are covered. Handgun, shotgun, machine gun, magnum, etc.

Well, I've unlocked all of the text files in the RE2 scenario, and most of the text files from the CV scenario. I've still got a few to find in Operation: Javier.
I think News Bot asked about the Tyrant 078 earlier, but at the time I hadn't found its bio. I got it last night, but strangely, it's referred to as a Tyrant 103. It says that it's a modified version of the ones deployed in Raccoon City, with the main differences being that it lacks a limiter coat and its claws are smaller.

Here's the file on the Tyrant 078. It's specifically listed as "Tyrant (T-103 Mass Produced Type)."
The mass-produced T-103 type Tyrant that was seen in Raccoon City was deployed to Rockfort Island for training by Umbrella's special forces unit. The only differences from the previous T-103 Tyrant is that its limiter was removed and its claws are smaller than those of the standard T-103. It boasts the same strength and endurance of previous Tyrant types.

A couple questions:
- How many additional weapons (aside from the handgun, shotgun, sub-machine gun, grenade launcher, rocket launcher, bowgun, magnum, linear launcher, and grenades) are there? Am I missing any?
- Can you unlock infinite ammo by getting an S rank on all chapters on hard difficulty? If so, can you get the linear launcher to use whenever you want?
- How do you get the second (good) ending to Operation Javier?
- How do you unlock the additional chapters in Operation Javier?Mass production? Ridiculous!

Finally getting to playing this after running errands. I am loving the talk between the characters so much. XD
Spoiler:
"Looks like they got the hots for you."
As well as:
"She just want to get out of here, Claire! And she needs our help!"
"Men... You just want to impress her, don't you?"
"Women..."
I'm still trucking through RE2's chapters, but I'm certainly not anywhere near putting down my Wiimote yet.
