  • Interesting how Ada heard about the G-Virus from John at the mansion. I'd always assumed it was Wesker who had provided The Orgainisation with that info.
    "I've got 100 cows."
    "Well I've got 104 friends."

    • You all remember Leon's hilarious line from DEGENERATION?

"I'm gonna scrub this virus from the face of the earth!"

A very similar line is uttered several times throughout DC:

The virus continues to grow... Altering its form, strengthening perpetually until the day comes when it can be destroyed.
It seems this refers not to a single virus (t-Veronica in DC or the t-Virus in DEGENERATION), but to all viruses. That seems to be Leon's ultimate goal, to completely destroy all viruses. Thus, it would rather go something like that:

The viruses keep proliferating...changing their form and, while doing so, increasing their strengths, until the time comes when they will be eradicated.
The mission statement would be to "completely eradicate viruses from this world". I don't have the DEGENERATION script to check, but I bet it's the exact same line.

        • So does Leon have any new feats of amazing strength and speed in this?

          • So far, I really haven't noticed anything ridiculous. Amazing, I know, but they made him... y'know, normal and all.

And like I predicted when the first real trailer came out, he shows a lot more emotion. Surprisingly, lots of fear and panic. I was so happy to see Paul Mercier could do a great job giving Leon more depth than "Hah, monsters. Guess after this there'll be one less to worry about."

Although, funnily enough, his counterattack now looks like a pirouette. He still has some fairy dust in him.

IIRC, he jumps in fear when faced with those cockroaches in the RE2 sewer section. But, it may be just because I played in his perspective. Ahaha, he tripped over a licker. Anyway... yeah.

ALEXIA FROM 2 IS A BITCH TO KILL. Anybody know what I'm supposed to do? Am I just supposed to shoot? The farthest I always get is after I climb that ladder. She always kills me because of those damned tentacles.

Although I've beaten her a few times, I'm not 100% sure where to aim specifically. I just lobbed explosives down at her. However, it's either her head or that little grubby-looking eggsac thing that comes out of her near the ground. I'm pretty sure you should aim for the latter once you reach the upper platforms.

Anyway, yeah... have fun with her 3rd form! Believe me when I say that it's just as frustrating as it was in the original CV to hit her flying ant ass with the linear launcher...
                Mass production? Ridiculous!

Am I the only one who saw that thing pop out and think "Is that a penis?!"

Thank you. I hope I get out this bitch fight.

^@ Canas. No. You weren't the only person.

"Hey, look! It's Alexia from 2, I heard she's a bitch to- HOLY FUCKK WATTISDAT!?!?"

                    Capcom loves their tentacles.

                    • The trick to hitting her with the Linear Launcher when she's flying like a bitch is to wait until Chris says "Here she comes!" and she goes in towards you, just before or just as the QTE pops up, shoot that bitch. Thats the closest she gets to you.

Sadly I couldn find anything about they.

W-Woah.... Brittany Moser is one sexy lady. Does she have little freckles on her nose? That is too cute.
                        Hell, Yeaaaah

Manuela is okay. Haven't gotten as far as her being useful (I just passed the part, right before the CVx scenario. where she jumps in the water after Leon and Krauser
Se is the most kickasss of "Damsel in distress" from RE. Sherry is second (for surviving 4 days in the station)

                          • Just finished 'Game of Oblivion'. Alexia, wattabitch. Glad I shot her to fucking pieces with the Linear Launcher. Also, Spoiler:
At least we find out they extracted the T-Veronica virus (did anybody else notice they just call it the 'Veronica virus now?) from Steve's body, even though there was no confirmation if Spoiler:
brought him back, like how he taunted Claire and Chris in the original.

On to the final part of 'Operation Javier', those enemies (the ones that look part mutated-Steve, part-Necromorph) are douches. Thank God they walk slow. Also, that boss Spoiler:
is a burden, too. Maybe that's because I only fought her with a handgun. Jeez, I kept dying while fighting her in chapter 4. When I died (and clicked YES to continue), I guess it glitched up and brought me back to the BEGINNING of chapter 4. Shit shit shit shit. At least I can conserve some ammo for the fight. Damn glitches.

                            Lovely game, though. Happily fun!!

Are those frog-like things in O:J Hunter Gammas? They seem like it, only smaller.

He's... um... really fast. It just depends how far Chris's plane was from the facility when it exploded, and how fast it was going. Wesker probably just ran his ass through the snow in a direction away from the facility. It seems fitting and badass enough for his character...

I liked those guys! I thought they were really creepy-looking, especially in the greenhouse when one falls from the ceiling and slowly walks towards you, flinging zombies out of the way like they were toys. I think the way they slowly walk towards you makes them more menacing - it makes you think what the hell's gonna happen when/if it reaches me?!

Yeah that really shouldn't be happening. Did this happen more than once?

They're hunter gammas. Apparently Javier was too cheap to buy MA-121's.
