I have a few questions:
Was Annette any different?
Did the game showcase all of Birkin's/G's forms?
Albinoids?
Was the Nosferatu fight the same? Differences?
Why did Alexia Spoiler:
kill Alfred the way she did, unlike the original?
So, Manuela was Spoiler:
infected with the T-veronica virus, which made her bleed fire like Alexia?
2) Unless I'm forgetting one of his forms from RE2, all of Birkin's transformations are present and accounted for. Also, he apparently knows kung fu now.
3) No albinoids in the game.
4) The Nosferatu fight is totally different from the original game. You even get to fight him while swinging on a cable. No, really.
5) It's not really explained, except for... Spoiler:
Alexia saying that he was no longer fun to play with, and he wasn't much use to her anymore. Also, she mentions he didn't wake her up on time.
6) Yes.
An update on the voice files, I unlocked all three from the RE2 scenario. They're phone calls shared between Annette and Sherry, with Annette telling Sherry to leave school early, head home, and then to head to the police station.

This might seem like a trivial question but is there a calibration screen? (a screen that allows you to correct your Wiimote's aim, for people who want to use a gun-shell or zapper. It would be handy to have the Wiimote actually aim where you point it)
I'd like to know this too.
Can anyone help out?

I'll agree with the opinion that lesser weapons isn't necessary a bad thing either. I couldn't tell much different the various hand guns in the first game. I think this choice was made due to the change in control scheme of mapping the weapon selection to the D-pad.

Oh. Okay. Thank you guys!!
Though not what I thought it would be (well, I kind of saw that coming), DSC sounds, to me at least, still pretty cool. While damnable for the fact it answers almost NOTHING, practically shifts around CV/x, and is rather motion-sickness-inducing, it seems more... human, than most of the other REs. More character involvement, I like. I liek verrri muccchhhs.

Asking a little question here, seeing as I haven't seen it answered on any other forums.
Regarding
Spoiler:
Sherry. Her mother and father both die in the game. Following that, we are told that she is going to be "taken care of" is there anymore mention of Sherry, or appearances? I finishing up the RE: CV scenario, and haven't heard all that much.

I've played this game for 6 hours straight on...my eyes are about to melt from staring at
my 32 inch LCD screen with the lights off for that much time. I just got to chapter 7
right after you defeat "Nosferatu", but I can't play anymore...I'll just continue on
tomorrow.
So far I'm extremely pleased with the game in comparison to UC (a game which I played
to death). It's really fun and I really liked the boss battles so far and the constant
dialogue between characters.
Can't wait to play more!Last edited by Kaneco; 11-18-2009, 11:20 PM.

I'll played the whole RE2 scenario earlier, and I'm loving the dialogue lol.

No. There's no mention of her after the RE2 scenario. I haven't go through the files yet but I doubt they will explain about her either. The only thing we know is she is in the hand of the government, and they know of the G antibody in her.

I will call it a 're-imagine' of Code: Veronica. The personality of the characters is indeed different. It enhanced Steve's personality but changed Alexia's. Wesker's role is kept to minimal but it seems Alfred have more screen time. The only problem I have is Chris. He doesn't seem shock nor angry when he learn that Wesker isn't dead from the mansion incident, almost as if he saw it coming.Last edited by xfactor; 11-18-2009, 11:41 PM.

The dialogue is amazing. And the Code Veronica ones are bordering on adorable, I love the chemistry between Claire and Steve through it so much. ;o;
RE: The end of 2's scenario with Sherry's crying - it broke my heart too.
Celstice: right now the end of RE2's scenario has a scene which explains Spoiler:
that Leon and Sherry were rescued by the US government. They tell Leon they have the authority to do as they please with him and with her. Leon tells them to leave her out of it because she's innocent. And they respond with that she carries the G anti-body, so she's being very well taken care of. And if Leon wanted this to "end peacefully" he had one choice: to work for them.
As for the Nosferatu fight, Spoiler:
It was a very welcome and enjoyed fight, despite it being totally different from the original. The hooks were a great addition, especially with how it ended, in regards to Chris seeing it later on just hanging in that room. XD
For the Steve stuff, Spoiler:
they handled the whole part with his transformation wonderfully, IMO. It was dramatic, the music was epic and everything. And when he died it was still as a heartbreaking as the original. Maybe even moreso, because when he mutters the last I love you, you see his lips form the words in this game, but he's already lost his last breath so it's like. ;_____;!!
As for Alfred and Alexia's relationship, Spoiler:
it was an odd twist for the game to give it. One that still makes a lot of sense. Alfred WAS still obsessed with Alexia, and Alexia's view was that everybody had to obey her, and since Alfred as she put it was late in waking her and stuff, she ... kills him. He never gets to see her awakened which is ironic for his character.
Finally, Wesker stuff. Which I think was the biggest disappointment, despite that I knew about it beforehand, Spoiler:
It really cuts out such an important part of it, so the whole ending to CV wasn't as epic or enjoyable as it could and I think should have been. One thing many people were praying for and hoping to see was the epic Wesker and Chris fight with DSC's graphics. So they really lamed up there. I mean, they kept the TENSION and RIVALRY between the two very present for that short moment. But bah. I wanted my epic battle.

If they (Capcom) seriously can't put a solid ending on a storyline that has been open ended since 1998, then I don't see a point in having faith they'll close it off at all. Not going to rant, but it's complete truth. We know as much now as we did 11 years ago. Regardless, the game itself was extremely enjoyable, besides not having any sense of closure in a few stories.

Damn. I really wish Capcom would release a guidebook. Like, now. I'm missing so many files, and I'm getting that restless, anxious, OCD feeling when I look at all the missing shit in the Archive. There are several files I desperately want to find.
Are there even any files that mention Sherry? So far, all the files I've collected in RE2 scenario really haven't said anything new. It's aggravating.
I hate how you have to shoot crap to find crap. I mean, come on.Last edited by Bianca; 11-19-2009, 04:52 AM.
