I wouldn't be any good at it. I tried my hand at fan fiction once before. If they used a script of mine it would be nothing but action and booby scenes. A one track mind upgraded a bit if you will. I though I did ok though for awhile but I run out of ideas too quickly.

I wish we got RE 3.5 instead of 4. It's not that I don't like the new camera or action style of 4 it just the story sucked and maybe should have been saved for a later RE. I think now with RE 6 coming out and talks of them rebooting the series I think the story of 4 would have been great for a reboot. Obviously it couldn't be the same but after a proper ending to Umbrella, having the plagas be the new threat would be ok. I think they jumped the gun with 4 and then realized it was a mistake so they had to go back to the original story in 5 and were stuck with the plagas.

hmm id personally change everything after CVX!. I always imagined that the last RE game would end in some huge Umbrella facility with the whole stars Crew along with Claire and Leon. The Books by S.D Perry are how i imagined the series to go.

That volcano ending was so awful.

Yeah this would be one of my choices, in my world if he absolutely has to die in that game he died from a combination of the serum overdose, a bullet to the head and falling out of the plane. What happened shortly afterwards in the game was just ridiculous, even by RE standards.

I was thinking that the fall wouldn't have killed him, but be similar to the original RE's ending in the fact that you think he's dead. But I guess they've done that too much, anyway...
            Mass production? Ridiculous!

just a bit lol to be honest i think they should have left the plane out of it completely and had the last battle in some big ass lab

The one thing I can think of offhand that I would have changed would have to be everything in RE5 post-rescuing Jill. I think I've seen this discussed elsewhere on the boards, but I think that after you fought her, Sheva should have found an excuse to go hang out with Josh for a while. That way, the final battles with Wesker (whichever way they decided to go with that, action-movie cheesy or not) would be fought with the original partners back together. I don't know about anyone else, but having Sheva there during that fight felt really out of place.

                  Yep.

Even though Sheva had a reason to want Wesker dead, for us (as fans) she simply didn't have the right to partake in his killing. If Sheva had been around since the days of the earlier games, some of us might forgive it, but you can't expect fans to accept that 50% of Wesker's death was carried out by a character just introduced in the same game. It just feels cheap, like an afterthought or something.

I think I speak for most of us when I say that while Sheva had history with Umbrella and whatnot, she had no right to get to "co-kill" Wesker. It should have been Chris and Jill.

After Resident Evil 3 in terms of when they released the games. I kinda felt that the story started falling apart from Code:Veronica onward, with Zero being my main problem for the overall story.

But in saying that, doing so would mean no REmake or Outbreak, so I'm split. But then again, those two fall within my "Resident Evil 1 - 3" timeline.

                    I miss Raccoon City.

I agree that Jill should've taken Sheva's place in terms of finishing Wesker off--but overall, I'm not disappointed about it that much. Jill basically was the reason why they killed off Wesker, anyway. She gave them his weakness, and (I know this may sound lame, but still) alerted them to use the rockets in a desperate minute, since Wesker was about to slam the heli down into the lava if they took a bit longer.

I don't think it would've made much sense for Sheva to suddenly take a hike after fighting along with Chris throughout the majority of the game, either. She actually stuck by him when he choose to pursue finding Jill, even though it wasn't her business, so there would be no reason for her to just be taken out of the story at that point--especially for a "personal battle" or anything like that.

If anything, Barry should've been utilized more in this instance. Wesker threatened his family, after all, even though it was a lie--and used him like a puppet. Not that controlling Jill and using her as a BOW isn't bad, but others had a reason to want his head on a stick, too.

Overall, I feel as though the final battle should've just been Chris and Wesker, without anyone interfering. Those two had the most hostility towards each other.

I agree. Originally I thought that Jill should assist, like perhaps throwing down a rocket launcher to Chris, Ada-style. But no... Chris should have done it all himself. It was his fight; the others simply didn't have the history with Wesker that he did.

I would have been happy if Sheva's RPG would have malfunctioned, but Chris's worked.

I like to pretend that, and Chris had a double barreled RPG

Wesker should never have been reintroduced into the series.

I'd would have liked to see how the series would've went if they completed RE 3.5. That looked badass.
