I'm sorry it just hurts very badly when you want to play the final beta of 1.5, and you simply can't. It has been 13 years, and I'm just surprised that with all of the leaked betas on the net, this one hasn't leaked by now.

The problem is that because it is wanted it is extremely valuable. Would be nice to get to finally play it.

Yeah, I made the Gorilla. It isn't completely finished and isn't exactly like the prototype's. Took me about 6~7 hours to make/texture so far. Shame it can't go into RE2.

Here's hoping for at least some more info/material to surface for the prototype in 2010.

Everyone calls them Gorillas yet to me, they just don't look like Gorillas. Sure they are big like Gorillas but I think they look more like Baboons that have grown to a size similar to that of a Gorilla because of the affects of the T-Virus.

Just check out the images below, they have snouts like Baboons:





And again look at the lighter coloured mane on the bottom "Gorilla", looks allot like a Baboons mane.

I think the mistake just comes from the poor amount of images we had in the early days and I'm too lazy to correct myself so I just call them gorillas when they are plainly baboons.

Yeah it's pretty much just habit and familiarity that we still call them gorillas, since that is what we've called them all the years. The concept art for them was never seen until archives and there were only a couple of official images of them other than Inflames' images. It's just an early mistake on what we called them that has stuck.
