Yes, in that part of RE3, there will often be zombies in that room (though its random whether they are there or not, or depends on which path you take initially in the game). Nemesis will often beat the fuck out of them if they are in his way. In that screenshot, Nemmy hasn't killed it and it is going after you as well.

Yes it is, at any point where Nemesis attacks you and you haven't cleared out the Zombies in that room both can appear at the same time in the demos and if I remember correctly the full game too. Also in the Mercs game in several rooms they both appear in the same rooms as standard placements!

The best preview pic / vid is the one where Nemesis hits a zombie with the rocket launcher that's in his way near the statue.
