The Music of Darkside Chronicles

What are you expecting from the game soundtrack-wise? What classic tracks from RE2 and CV do you hope to see remixed? What do you hope they don't remix?

Basically, anything musically related to Darkside Chronicles can be discussed here.

Personally, I'm hoping to hear a remix of First Floor. That's the best track IMO out of all of the games.

The Suspended Doll is one of the tracks I'm really looking forward to, but I think it's fine as is and hope they don't remix it :c

One that I DO want to see remixed, though, are the themes of Alexia. That could be really awesome :3

During one of the trailers a month or so ago, there was some awesome music playing when Claire and Steve were investigating Alfred's killhouse. I really liked that a lot.

From RE2, most of the tunes were so great that I would love to see most of them redone with an orchestra. However, I don't think they would require too many changes. I also wouldn't worry about The First Floor being in there, as I'm sure it will be, along with (hopefully) the following, slightly redone if necessary:

- Raccoon City
- The Front Hall
- The Second Floor
- The Library
- Ada's Theme
- The Marshaling Yard (both of them)
- The Malformations of G (all of them)
- Underground Laboratory
- Escape From Laboratory
- Prologue (To Know the True End)

As for CVX (the only game whose music beats RE2's, in my opinion), I would love to hear:

- Piano Roll (main theme)
- Prologue
- Death Siege
- The Palace of Insanity
- Through the Scope
- Greetings (although with Wesker's limited presence, I doubt it)
- Induction
- Entrapment
- Lachrymal
- The Suspended Doll
- Pandora's Box
- The Themes of the Tyrant
- A State of Emergency
- Blanc
- The Theme of Nosferatu
- The Ending of the Beginning
- The Opening: Chris Version
- Intrigue
- To Antarctica
- Subzero
- Deja Vu
- Rasen
- Murderous Eyes (once again, if this epic battle is even featured)
- The Themes of Alexia
- Transformation
- Awesome Powers (not likely unless Wesker fights Chris)

But most of all, I want to hear The Code Is Veronica, as I love that track and think it would sound incredible and epic with an orchestra. It just summed up all of CVX for me.

pff dont get your hopes up,most of that music[like the code is veronica] doesnt fit rail shooters...and others are scenes that was cut from the game[transformation].

also i think there will be only alexia type 2 theme..you can hear that in the very first cv trailer from e3..doesnt sound too grand but maybe will better in game

I really hope that a rearranged version of "Goodbye, Leon" will be played during Ada's "death" scene in this game.

Well, I don't think there was a First Floor remix, but I do know that the music that was in the game might have been one of the best parts.

Alexia has two themes this time, and they are both amazing. I am very, very impressed by the quality of these remakes! ♥

I agree with that!

The music in this game (particularly in the RE2 and CV portions) is incredible. A lot of the old favorites from those games are revamped here, and they sound more full and epic. And example would be "A State of Emergency" from CV (escaping from Rockfort); it sounds more orchestrated and full.

I agree, A State of Emergency sounded awesome (it's my favorite "escape" music in the series).

Also, the RPD Main Hall theme was hauntingly good. The Malformations of G were all really nicely redone, too.

I really liked the music that plays during the "killhouse" section in Chapter 3 of the CV scenario. Probably some of the best music in the series.
