Anyone completed Very Hard yet? I'm curious to see if it gets you anything beyond a meaningless title.
Also, as a side note, I believe Manuela's lullaby, the final VOICE file in O:J, is found in those crates at the end of Chapter 6 (where you fight the Anubi before the boss).A man chooses...a slave obeys.

I think I've unlocked everything there's to unlock (for the archives) in normal mode, so I am going through hard mode now. I'll be adding the locations in the OP for the Umbrella icons which I've found in hard mode as well as what they unlocked. It'll be a long process though...

It hasn't been that difficult so far, either. The maxed out handgun alone pretty much takes care of everything. It's still next to impossible to score headshots though. I'm not sure I'll be able to S rank any of the early chapters now.

I was finally able to get S ranks on all the chapters in the game (including the extra Krauser ones) on hard mode - no infinite ammo for me! This leads me to believe that every chapter has to either be beaten on very hard, or be beaten with S ranks on very hard to get infinite ammo! As if head shots weren't impossible enough for me to pull off in hard mode...
On a side note, I was finally able to unlock every archive item in the game (excluding the titles) bar two - a couple of text files hidden somewhere in Operation Javier ch. 6, presumably on hard mode. I did find, however, the following icons:
- In one of the lamps on the central pillars in Javier's courtyard.
- In another one of the lamps on the central pillars in Javier's courtyard.
- In the crates in the warehouse (DarkMemories confirmed this to be Manuela's Lullaby for the Voice section).
I took the right path in the human remains tunnel, so I'll have to go back tonight to see if there's another icon on the left path. Also, I unlocked Wesker's profile in this chapter, but I'm not sure if I did so by finding an icon or by beating the chapter on hard with an S rank.Mass production? Ridiculous!

My recommendation to you is to get the linear launcher (beat all chapters on hard) and fully upgrade it - especially its charge time. You can then just blast the crap out of any destructible object you see, with only a few seconds between each shot. I wish I could help more, but I just don't remember where I found the file.Mass production? Ridiculous!

That's actually what I've been doing, ha ha. I've destroyed pretty much every destructible object in Operation: Javier, and I still haven't found it. I went through that courtyard a ton of times too just to make sure I got all the lamps.
I'm playing through on Very Hard right now, so hopefully, with any luck it'll pop up somewhere in there.Last edited by Archelon; 11-24-2009, 07:32 PM.

I unlocked Wesker's archives in Normal mode, thus I can confirm that difficulty isn't a criteria here. I strongly believe only parts of the texts and all of the voices are hard mode exclusive.

I finally unlocked all the archive items! Now I just need to beat all the scenarios on very hard, then go for S ranks on all scenarios on very hard. It will no doubt be difficult.
I'm missing a few titles between "Jabberwock Killer" and the first Gold Collector one - does anyone know what they are? I'm assuming they're "Anubis Killer" and "Bandersnatch Killer" to go along with the "tough enemies killed" theme, but I'm not sure.Mass production? Ridiculous!
