Characters faithfull to their original models

Wich do you think are the characters that have been remade (in recent games) most faithfull to theire original models?

For me it has to be:
- Ada: I loved how she looked in RE4, and latter RE:UC and RE: DSC, it is really faithfull to her RE2 model.. or concept art...
- Wesker: his model is so well done in almost all RE games, with the exception of RE: DSC Spoiler:

I don't like how he looks in the ending of Operation Javier, it just doen't look like him... at all, onlly the sun glases remind me of him

I actually preferred the way Wesker looked in DSC, even through he looked a bit different at the end of Operation Javier. It was RE5 that made him look COMPLETELY different from any other appearance of him in the series.

Honestly, all the characters in DSC look amazing - particularly Claire. I think they captured the feel and looks of these characters very well, as they were unable to really do so in the original RE2 and CV.

As I mentioned above, it was RE5 that really changed the way the characters looked. It really had nothing to do with the superior graphics, either - I think the characters in DSC look far more realistic than those from RE5. Wesker wasn't THAT bad (he has aged considerably, after all), but Chris looks NOTHING like he did in Rebirth or DSC. This pissed me off. No one is built like that.

Wesker sure looks pretty different in RE5. he seems like he aged more than he's suppose to.

Chris too, who looks too ragged and dark in RE5. His DSC model is pretty good even though I think its not taken directly from REmake.

Jill is pretty good in RE5 though.

i really like both Claire and Leon in DSC. Leon has been pretty consistence between RE4, REDSC and RE Degeneration imo.

Rod, you couldn't have put it better in my opinion.

Alexia's models just completely bug me, (combined with the new voice as well) - she doesn't really look as she should.
The designs for either of them didn't really need to be tweaked to what they did in DSC.


(Now, I'm off to play some CVX to watch the real Alexia to shrug off the feelings of rotten little brats from DSC).

I didnt liked original Alexia voice, her laugh was so...bad (Is not like I do like the new one but still) and her "Human" version did look like herself. the first form was kinda flower-ish but still looked like the original. the second looked nothing like the original and I cant tell about the third. In short, I did like her

you are not alone. And yes, though Wesker looked more realistic, he looked just too weird, maybe is because he almost never is without his glasses

I remember that I was terribly pissed when I saw Chris in Remake with his huge ears, his awful haircut (looks more like a black helmet to me) and the fact that he lost his cat-eyed look from RECVX.

However, I thought he was OK in RE5, even though he was considerably buffed up.

-I don't fucking know why Leon is blond in RE4!
-Claire looks really really good in the CV scenario of DSC.

However, I really don't mind the others, they didn't change that much for me.

I liked Alexia's look in DSC more than in the original CV. Her voice, however, does annoy me.

Wesker looks different, but I like the look they gave him. He looked far more similar to the Remake/RE0 Wesker than the one from RE5 (who looks like a completely different person). The Wesker from DSC looks more youthful, but I like the look.

I'd like to point out that there's an old render of a blonde RE2 Leon (it was in a magazine, I believe).

Plus, Leon's hair color has never been consistent; it was carrot-colored in RE2cutscenes, brown during gameplay, blackish in the inventory screen, etc.

There's also another lack of consistence with Chris' eyes color. In RECV he has blue eyes, but in CG cutscenes they are brown (even though it's the same damn game!!) just like in RE5. In Remake they are grey.

RE5 Chris actually looks a lot like his REmake self. The stubble and messy hair just hides it.


I remember seeing a image of his character model ona PC screen during develpment before RE5 released, had no stubble and very short hair, really showed the likeness.


I don't suppose anyone has such image? I've tried looking/googling for it many times in similar topics on other RE forums.

In CV Chris looked like a Korean pop star especially in the CG cutscenes.
