You know guys, i've been thinking about RE6 today (it was raining all day, so i stayed in playing RE5), and then i started watching RE Degeneration, so i was looking at Claires model... she is so old school, I'm not saying that is bad, but look at Chis, Wesker, Jill, Leon, Ada, they were all transformed to fit in todays trend, like they were "modernized", but then there is Claire, she is still that girl with a ponny tail, and hasn't changed that much, she doesn't feet in todays "gaming lead character", so, how do you guys think she'll look like in RE6... asuming she'll be in it, hehe... which seem to be very likelly, since Chis/Jill/Wesker story is over, now we need a Leon/Claire/Ada story... and maybe some Sherry in there too, hahahahaha

Honestly, I remember Capcom talking about "rebooting" the series, which bothers me a bit. If they're talking about characters, we can kiss all our favorites goodbye. However, if they're only talking about gameplay, I would expect a mix of old and new characters, but mostly focusing on new. Why? Because Leon and Ada just had RE4 and DSC (Leon also had Degeneration) and Claire had Degeneration and DSC. I doubt we'll see Chris or Jill, Wesker's dead, and the only other character in the series who could actually be considered a "main" character (Rebecca) isn't exactly the ideal protagonist for a game (we all know how well RE0 went).

      Barry! Where's Barry?!
      Mass production? Ridiculous!

RE6 will probably be about Leon and The Organisation. I think that what they meant by Reboot is a new gameplay with new monsters, etc...

Leon's motivation is to destroy all the viruses in the world and The Organisation has all the viruses.

I just realized the only story arc left is what concerns Leon, Ada and The Organisation. It pretty much means that once Leon destroys the Organisation, the RE series is over. (No viruses, no biohazard)

Sorry I'm a bit off topic, but I wanted to say that.

I don't think Claire will be in RE6 at all, and as it was said in Degeneration she did not choose to fight biological threats, so Leon is a wiser candidate for a RE6 IMO.

Actually she's transformed to fit in todays trend in DSC....And I think she was very well done in that game, especially during the CV scenario. She's really really cute in Game of Oblivion, her haircut (different from the RE2 scenario) and her outfit makes her look gorgeous.

I thought it was bigger in RECV, honestly

Anyway, 'big' but nice ass nonetheless, haha

Since a discussion of Claire's aesthetic seems to be going on, did anyone find that at times it seemed as though she had absolutely no chin? I'm thinking particularly of all the CG's from Game of Oblivion Chapter 7, and the cutscene right before she and Steve board the plane in Chapter 5, and when Alfred makes his appearance? It literally appears like her head is fused to her shoulder. Don't get me wrong, there were times where she looked beautiful, but there was also a lot of times where she was downright weird looking... Like a catfish or something.

Good God, I need to write those papers.

I like that they made Chris and Claire look really similar, especially in GoO

Just watch the scene where Chris finds her and then Alexia starts talking. I can actually pinpoint the moment, I think. When Claire looks up and says, "Veronica virus?"

... No wonder I'm falling behind in school.

                      I have an example!

                      There's definitely a toad-like or cat-fish-esque quality there.

                      And now! Back to Epistemology.

I don't see anything wrong with Claire, here.

I think she is quite good looking in game of oblivion, honestly.

I think there's parts of it definitely where she is. Her face seems to look different in every cut-scene. Then again, I'm probably just not getting enough sleep.

I'm not seeing the resemblance myself...

On second thought, I am getting a slight catfish vibe from her mouth.

Claire kind of reminds me of Jerry's two-face girfriend in that one Seinfeld episode who looks great with certain lighting and angles, and horrible in others.

*Claire goes to check out the disturbance in the cargo hold of the seaplane.

Steve: Claire! Wait!" (Steve runs after her, then promptly returns) Bad lighting in cargo hold.

Honestly, all the characters in DSC look amazing - particularly Claire. I think they captured the feel and looks of these characters very well, as they were unable to really do so in the original RE2 and CV.

As I mentioned above, it was RE5 that really changed the way the characters looked. It really had nothing to do with the superior graphics, either - I think the characters in DSC look far more realistic than those from RE5. Wesker wasn't THAT bad (he has aged considerably, after all), but Chris looks NOTHING like he did in Rebirth or DSC. This pissed me off. No one is built like that.
I agree. I'm actually surprised Capcom went back to Chris' old style and not re-use his RE5 model. Talk about inconsistency. I'm glad they did though.

I'd probably agree with Ada being the most faithful. Leon has got to be the least faithful, just because of his hair. It was reddish in the cutscenes in RE2, brown while in-game, dusty blonde in RE4, and brown in Degeneration!
