I haven't played DSC but I can't imagine Alexia being worse than Excella. She was just another RE character who had tons of potential and didn't realize any of it. On paper she was an interesting character(although she was yet another 'child prodigy'), but in-game she was a skank who did nothing but try to use her tits to join in on Wesker's plan for world domination.

Excella VS Alexia(DSC ver.)

The problem with Excella is, that nothing from what was written in heir file was shown in the game. In her file she's a child prodigy etc., in the game, she's just another rich bitch who wants to rule over the world and to be scored by Wesker. :/

Her transformations look retarded, her character is COMPLETELY different, her voice is annoying, and it makes her look like a cheap, boring scientist who wanted to experiment on people, rather than a crazy cow who wanted to control the world. At one point she actually says she DOESN'T want the world to serve her, just her experiments. What the fuck? A file in the original directly contradicts that statement. DSC Alexia also has a Veronica fetish. She's pathetic, ugh.

I just.. cannot.. for the life of me.. understand WHY.. Why were they so compelled to change her character when she was absolutely fine before? -And why did they cut her hair? Was that really f*cking necessary?! The only thing they got right with Alexia, in my opinion, was her first mutation. She looked pretty damn sexy. ;D..
I'll take your word for it, ladies, but Emma knows how much I dislike Excella. I wanted to like her sooo badly. Before RE5, I wanted her to become a possible future antagonist, and instead she was just another useless throwaway character with lots of potential that Capcom fucked up beyond belief.Last edited by Vector; 12-06-2009, 05:30 PM.

All games need characters that are designed specificaly for that game (or to be killed off)
If every character made was saved for later stories, there would be too many characters to keep track of, and then things start to get confusing =]
For example...Steve, Carlos, Nicholai..Manuela etc...are just characters designed for that specific game. Thats why they havnt been mentioned or havnt appeared in a different game. (remakes dont count. like Nicholai being in outbreak, because its set in the same story/timeline.)
These sort of characters are meant to flesh out the story, so you can add more to the game.
Thats what Excella is. She extended the plot of RE5.
Although...i do wish they designed her differently (appearance wise)Last edited by Andyfer_Ruu; 12-06-2009, 06:05 PM.

I'm gonna go for the MAD option because I don't like either. I don't see how anyone can like the one-dimensional Excella because sure she fell in love and was betrayed by Wesker but that's like feeling bad for a person who puts their hand on a hot burner when there's a sign that says "WARNING! Burner is hot!" I just can't feel sorry for them.
And Alexia...well I hope she improved in DSC.Last edited by Becky's Butt; 12-07-2009, 06:00 AM.

IMO, kinda off topic, but I think the explanation of the Linear Launcher makes sense. They could add that to canon.
If only they'd change that damn video date ('83, you know...).
