Actually, if the video is in raw frames (heck, I don't even think that's needed anymore) Adobe Imageready can open the video and view/export/edit/import every single frame.

I pretty much think it'd be a long winded photoshopping session as most applications that remove text usually only fix water marks which in most cases still in some aspect has the image data (be it slightly lightened/darkened) where as that video is pretty much block text over the image. I don't know of any application that would automatically fix block text as most automated stuff isn't that smart or sophisticated to accompish it. well maybe hollywood may have something of use.
Probably would be quicker to find someone who could just blank the RE5 ingame text and recapture it.Last edited by Enrico Marini; 12-12-2009, 06:50 PM.

Well, logo/watermark removal filters usually work in one out of two ways;
Via the use of a simple layer, it either uses color correction to remove/minimize the appearance of watermark or it will "remove" the area with text and fill it by taking the nearest pixels outside the area and duplicating/smudging them towards the center of the gap (which usually works fine with anime and other stuff with clean colors and strong contrasts)

Well, yeah. He'd have to re-encode the video with said proposed edits/filters applied.
It's not like YouTube supports layering of videos or something like .ASS subtitles or anything (which I don't mind anyway, as I don't exactly need/want that. Their .SRT subtitle support is already wonky enough)

If it were somthing I really wanted, I'd give it a go, but your looking at something like an hour per frame even with the most expencive kit available to the general public.
So for a couple of seconds You Tube quality video it's simply not worth it.
