This list isn't intended to be taken that those are games from best to least best. Its just the top 200 games of all time, no order meant or anything. Personally though I do feel that 4 is way beter than 2. Thats my opinion though.

For instance, you'd expect Half Life 2, GTA3 and Mario 64 to be towards the top of the list, with the likes Beyond Good & Evil, Splinter Cell and Tactics Ogre to be towards the bottom.

^ When I hear that, I get this weird feeling in my hand... like it's longing for something. A knife, or something. It just feels so lonely without it.Last edited by Canas Renvall; 12-11-2009, 10:26 AM.

I'm only upset that Super Mario RPG was at 148. It was an amazing game, especially for its time and possibly could have been higher on the list. Final Fantasy Tactics was 45 though...that pleases me...very much. Everything else more or less makes sense. Having played everything in the top 20 except for Half Life 2 and World of Warcraft, I believe that each deserves its place.sigpic
Are you tired, Rebecca?

RE2 on place 41 and RE on place 106... oh holy shit, does the gamer community really love more action and graphic?
i'd be alot more scared of:
A: a mind controlled man with a chainsaw (one kill)
B: a mindless undead slow as hell and dies with one hit to the head
Do the math
i like the zombies but hands down RE4 is still rated the number one RE gamesigpic

That's not a fair comparison. You don't fight men with chainsaws all the way through RE4. What you do fight is a bunch of people with random weapons yelling at you in Spanish, running up to about ten feet away and then walking up...very slowly. Compare that to a shambling undead flesh eater that actually moves faster across those short distances and then remember it's both far tougher and usually starts off closer and....
Or compare Salvador to something else. Say, Crimson Heads. Something that runs so fast you barely have time to react, let alone escape from it, and can show up anywhere you failed to destroy the corpse of a zombie.
Sadly, for me, RE4 lacked fear as a rule. Salvador was intimidating but not especially difficult to deal with and so net terribly scary. Plus, chainsaws make terrible weapons as a rule. The Regenerators and Iron Maidens were scarier but quite rare, maybe ten in the whole game. Everything else I found fairly meh. Especially the Ganados.
