Not sure if this is sarcasm or not, because I made my very first post ever on Bioflames in that very thread, bwahaha.

It's like the entire Rresident Evil community is related. Everyone knows everyone else from some old RE forum.

A lot of the veterans are like that, yes. When you've been seeing the same names for ten years, even if you aren't friendly, you tend to remember them and what they've done.

Holy shit Wesker controled THE ORGANIZATION? Now that's a plot twist LOL. Guess it's out of context, that would make RE4's (& Separate Ways) not having sense at all or is it?
          I'm confused...

I'm pretty sure its out of context, you can take "controlling" in several ways. Its not like it said "in charge of" or "running". Control can also mean manipulating, which he... did.

Yup, I agree with that. I mean Pre-RE5 Wesker was all about pulling strings to his own benefit screwing everyone else, which would make more sense; I guess all is in the air right now, until 6 or the reboot come. Thanks News Bot!

Wesker was working with the organization, probably giving them viruses. Remember he was looking for money to find Spencer. Even if Ada didn't send him the Las Plagas, I'm sure Wesker or Irving got a hold of them. It would be nice if the organization is reworked in the story for 6 but won't hold my breath.

Have any of you read the manga "Parasyte"?

RE4 and RE5 borrow a lot from it.
It would make a lot of sense if Krauser's plagas infection works like the main character of Parasyte.

Heres an enemy from Parasyte. WARNING: Image is gory and contains a swear word.

Everyone thought he was dead until he appeared on the European Rockfort Island.

Only as of DSC. It was never stated before exactly where Rockfort was.

maybe officially, but it was inferred that rockfort was southern hemisphere due to the flight to antartcia being relatively short. Didnt we have a disucussion about the cargo planes fuel capacity etc on the old PU forums?! lol

Possibly but perhaps Capcom wanted to fix their mistake with DSC?

Once we have a look through and translate all we have on CVX we're bound to find something on it though haha.

Also, they possibly got it mixed up with Sheena Island, which is European. Wouldn't be surprising since its the same people who generally write each guide.

There's speculation as to the whereabouts of Rockfort island in this book, page 192.
I think they say it may be in the Faulklands?

I have the expanded edition of this guide, the white cover version released for CODE: Veronica Kanzeban (CODE: Veronica Complete and CVX, basically). I know exactly which passage you're referring to, it speculates on mileage as well. Page 217 in my guide. Its the top right passage here:

I've got the other edition as well. The reason I cited the red book is that I couldn't find it in the white book. Now you've shown me I can see it's there, but it appears that there is less text than the red one. In the red one it gets a whole page.

Without translations of both, it's impossible to know the differences.
