I think the last Resident Evil with the current plot should just include all the characters
from all the games that there's actually a possibility of them being involved in the incident
of said story. I bet there would be a lot of character development when many main
characters are brought together.

Wesker 101's suggestion in implementing many characters in one story would bring a
tighter connection to the series as a whole, then bring a close to the RE series with a
long ending showing what the characters did/are still doing sort of like MGS4 and not
the flying into the sunset nonsense that leaves wanting for more.

I guess nobody should whine then...except for utter haters of certain characters.

To be honest, I think the next Resident Evil 6 game should have fresh new characters as the protagnists or use one of the forgotten characters (Billy, Carlos, Rebecca, Sherry, or Barry) or Ada.

After observing Rebecca in Remake, it's obvious that she got the hell out of dodge after the incident. I just don't see her as someone who would still be fighting B.O.W.'s.

Billy is a fugitive. Unless he changed his identity, he will never be heard from again, and even if he does, he's not going to be fighting against bio-terrorism. He had no connection to the main story other than to provide a partner for Becky.

Carlos might actually make sense. He grew up with combat, and he mentioned that it was "in his blood." We know that he has good intentions, so it would not surprise me if he would be anti-B.O.W. or whatever. However, I do fear he would be a Hispanic version of RE4 Leon.

Barry would be cool, and his epilogue from RE3 seemed to state that his "comrades needed him" (although I'm unsure if that meant that he needed to pick up Jill in the chopper at the end). If they include Barry in a future installment, he will be in is fifties and thus it is not likely he will be playable. As someone mentioned earlier, his role as a "radio man" could make sense. However, you also have his family, which I don't see him leaving at his age.

Sherry would make the most sense, but only if the game was geared more towards horror elements and not combat (I do not want to see Sherry mowing down hordes of Capcom's newest parasitic cannon fodder enemies with a minigun). Her past could provide for an interesting Silent Hill-type of game, although I don't see Capcom going in this direction. Regardless, Sherry would be an interesting protagonist - the little girl from Raccoon City all grown up, with her past and her parents' evil deeds constantly haunting her.

I just want a few new characters. I mean like if the new characters mention old characters (Chris,Jill ect ect) I'd be completely fine with that but I just want new characters. Let the old characters be.

I remember reading one one of the designer notes about Carlos and I remember it said that he has a sad life history and that if his face, name, and nationially all fake or not, which it was never explained in RE3. http://projectumbrella.net/articles/...3-Design-Notes . Maybe the next one might be Carlos and maybe Nicohial will make a appearance.

-As for Sherry, I also think that she will make a good Protagnist for Resident Evil 6. If they make one with Sherry, I think Resident Evil 6 will have to take place before the events of Resident evil 5 have started. Especially if the Umbrella and Albert Wesker is out the picture since Wesker died in RE5.

Dark Moon was right at the start of this thread.
The more obsessive Jill fans have put me off her character greatly.
Luckly i havnt met many other people who have put me off characters (apart from Steve & Sherry. But to me thats no loss.)

It sort of spoils the game or movie for me when i meet those type of people =( It's just the way i feel about it. If anyone took offence to that (even a small bit) accept my apology. It's just my own opinion, not an attack.

I've sent in a recording to the podcast saying what i'd like to see in RE6, so i wont go into it on here. But if you really want to see Jill again, just replay the other games.

Just for example; Say if they wrapped up Leon's character in the series, even though i like his character i wont be bothered by it. I'd just go and play RE4 or Darkside Chronicals again.
I'd rather they sacrificed characters to keep the series fresh. I'll certainly let go to all of my favourite characters.
Because to me, Resident Evil 5 has wrapped up everything on all characters since Wesker is the main bad guy and he's dead.
Since i'm satisfied with RE5's story i dont expect to see Chris or Jill again. They could be mentioned in other games, but I want them to start fresh.

Again, thats my own personal opinion.

To answer the original thread question, no, I don't think she will. She's been in Nemesis and TUC and so I do not see the need.

I hope next time a Biohazard is released it will focus on new characters. I'm tired of Ada, Chris, Wesker, Leon...

Originally Biohazard 2 should have featured entirely new characters. Then afterward they had the bright idea of trying to make scenarios, link everyone's background to each others, feature the same characters over and over...

If each episode had been a stand alone it would have been way better.
