Oh mates, I don't understand why some from here can't stand Jill's huge fanbase. Face it. In fact, they take their time to bash the character instead of giving a reasonable answer of why she will not be in RE6. Maybe there's no reason at all, and is that wrong? He want her back, he's not asking for your approval or something like that. Why if i say i want Barry Burton back? I don't want to see beyond the possibilities, i just want it to come true.

I personally think, she won't be in RE6, as many from here... her story was wrapped up and unless there's a logic explanation of why she would return, we won't see her in another game as a lead.

Not to sound mean but Chris and Jill have been finished:

Chris - Ended in RE5 with the Death of Wesker
Jill - Ended with UC/RE5 when Umbrella fell, Death of Wesker

The only thing that could be done with Jill and Chris is if they continued in the BSAA but the plot would be weak for well developed characters. A new character can have a weak plot as its developing the character.

To be honest, with their nemesis dead (Wesker/Umbrella), I think Chris/Jill would probably settle down to Desk roles especially after Chris wouldn't want to see Jill actually die again.

Leon will most likely return since he is a government agent/whipping boy. Claire, though Capcom are trying to put her on the bench, seems to have forgotten about Sherry and steve (wesker mentioned I believe that there was still life within Steve [KILL IT WITH FIRE]). There is also Sherry and what became of her. Ada and her Organisation. Then there is good old freelancing Hunk.

I think the likelyhood that Jill would return to action is very low. Especially when Leon is still knocking around. Unless an offshoot of Tricell goes and steals Jill and Chris's love child, I think they'd not have much motivation for another story.

On another note: WHERE'S BARRY?! HE DESERVES HIS OWN GAME THOUGH HE'D BE LIKE 60 SOMETHING!!

Thinking on it, the only thing I could think of that would be a really good foil to Chris and Jill would be Wesker. But Wesker is dead. And hopefully, he'll stay that way. That doesn't mean someone can't inherit his...legacy, however.

Imagine, if you will - a stock of vaccine for the t-virus is destroyed before it can be delivered to a major population. A message scrawled on the wall says, 'I will win this game again, Chris,' leading BSAA leader Chris Redfield to assume that somehow, in someway, Albert Wesker isn't dead. He, Jill and the BSAA investigate the city only to find it's a trap with more hints of Wesker's handywork. Most of the BSAA who go into the city end up dead but Chris and Jill make it out, following the breadcrumbs, until they find out that Wesker isn't alive but someone has taken control os his assets, using Wesker, Jill and Chrises relationship to lead the BSAA to destruction. Maybe someone we know (Ada, Sherry or the true evil Enrico Marini!) or a new character. Depending. It then sets up a new arc with a new enemy facing the remains of the BSAA. And Leon. Because Leon is like a nasty veneral disease that's hard to get rid of.

Other than something along those lines, or Wesker showing up again (no, Capcom. Just no.) I don't see an obvious reason to return to Chris and Jill, especially not in RE6.

I have no problem with anyone who likes Jill. I like Jill, and I thought she was brilliant in RE3 and I've not disliked her in any games so far. The fact is, he made a topic to ask people's opinions on her return to another installment of Resident Evil. When people thought differently to him, he began on a caps-lock rampage and said the only reason he wanted him back is "because he loves Jill, why wouldn't he?". I don't care if people like Jill or not, but he shouldn't be making topics asking for others' opinions then telling them not to comment when they're different to his own. Jill's story is wrapped up and after this DLC is released, there's not really anywhere for her story to go anymore. People would much rather see something that isn't finished, like Ada.

Have to agree with most people here, I love Jill, she is my favourite character but her story is over. Although...

            That sounds quite cool

But I think it would be better if they expanded on another character and just left Jill alone. I just have to pretend RE5 doesn't exist and keep playing RE1 and 3. I'd like too see Barry, Sherry or Rebecca. The characters have pretty much disappeared like Capcom has just forgotten about them... maybe someone should send them a copy of Resident Evil 1 and 2 in the post?

Ditto. If there is one character that has been left out, it's definitely the old man.

Are you still with us, Berry?

Someone should promote Darkmoon to head the story for RE6. I like that story.

Not Excella's and Weskers love child.... or

Oh god not Clone Wesker....... God I can see the excuse now. Wesker bred a Clone of himself to test out oroboros on just incase he wasn't perfect enough for it............ and you killed the clone in RE5. Then Jill turns out to be a clone also...... and mutates into Tyrant Jill with very little covering her figure. Then, in a rather dramatic entrance, Clone Nemesis bursts in with his Tag team partners Clone Birkin and Clone Alexia and together with Tyrant Jill, hands Chris his arse. But suddenly, Original Jill crashes through the door armed with a rocket launcher dressed in a negligee and proceeds to rock(et) their worlds.....

Say it isn't so Capcom......... The day the evil died......

Knowing Capcom, they'll just say that Wesker falling into the Lava and being decapitated by Rockets was a glitch in the games programming........

But I do like Darkmoons idea. Even in its current state its more fleshed out than the official RE stories.

I want Jill as the star in a main game, I've said it elsewhere. The last time we had this is in Nemesis 10 years ago almost.

REmake wasn't 'new' story for the most part, UC was a rail shooter with very little new story and most of it was focused on Wesker anyway, RE5 she didn't play a large 'active' part and the upcomming DLC isn't a full fledged story.

It is like for the last 10 years Capcom have been teasing without fully delivering. It is long past the point that they do.

I don't get this "Jill's story is over so no more games for her" mentality either. For one thing she just went through years of being controlled by Wesker and forced to do horrible things, not to mention she has these super powerful antibodies now making her immune to infections. Am I the only one who looks at this and sees a crapload of potential for story and character development?

Secondly, if Jills story is over so is Chris', so is Claires (should have been over after CV and finding Chris but then we had Degeneration saying she not a figther just to cement the deal), Leon shouldn't of had a game after RE2 since all the finishing Umbrella crap he spouted at the end he never did a thing to help with and then Umbrella was gone by the time he starred in another game.

So that is the 4 main stars of the RE series all with no reason to have anymore games, so if they shouldn't get any because of 'story being finished' then I ask why people even post in these type topics because you don't really want anymore RE games, without any existing characters being used RE6 it may as well not be a RE game.

However despite the logic of the above two paragraphs we have already seen that if Capcom want to use a character they will write the story how is needed to include them. So these "Story are over" comments fall flat and are rather pointless.

Anyway, will she star in her own game again? Yes she will be 'a' star, she is by far the most popular character and Capcom knows it which is probably why they've stuck her in various non-RE games. However co-op in RE5 proved to be popular so I am not sure if we will ever get a solo main star again so she may have the share the spotlight with another character. Handheld games may still stay single player for the campaign though, so a chance there.

You think the only times Ada did anything for Wesker/The Organisation was the two times she bumped into Leon?

It was just luck (lazy writing) she met him the second time and Leon has never been assigned to track down her or the Organistion. There is no reason why she would meet Leon again unless Capcom invent a reason, in which case see where I said in my long post that they can write a reason for anyone if they want.

I'm sure Leon will be RE6 main character because after RE4 he is the most famous RE character and Capcom will/must do something with it.

And aside from that, Leon/Ada/ The organization storyline is the ONLY one open in RE franchise

I am not sure what CAPCOM will do now with Jill after seeing her in Resident Evil 5, but I only hope that in my opinion the best character in the series grants us one last escape.
