Cos I don't know of any codes for the japanese trial, I suggest you try and recreate a simple code like the health bar value using pcsx2 or ps2rd, the value is more than likely the same for all versions. I would help you further but atm I don't have a working ps2 anymore and my pc isn't fast enough for emulation so other than porting codes "using at least one code already hacked for a game as a base offset" and making mastercodes i'm of no further use, sorry.

Tony Redgrave, if I recall correctly was either to be a detective and/or partner of Dante's OR they evolved into the final versions of Dante and Trish, or perhaps Aisha evolved into Ada considering some of the concept art (although, I don't recall the older character seen with the gun smoking and leaning on the back of a car that Dante is leaning on ever being named and the other one does have a similarity to Trish - the more Ashley looking one later on may have had a similar sort or role, perhaps?) though in Devil May Cry Volume 1 (manga) by Shin-Ya Goikeda and the DMC Animated Series - Mission #08 Once Upon A Time and another episode, Dante also uses it as an alias and/or different persona in a manner of speaking.

Since we have Luis dying in retail 4, perhaps Tony was actually Dante's partner but was murdered in a similar manner during the investigation (as a prologue OR during the game itself) causing him to keep that name on his gun as a reminder of a good friend lost?

*Shrugs* Just a thought considering how that scene in the retail of 4 plays out - would make some sort of sense.

As for the concept art, I'm fairly certain that was the original concept for Sparda though it does look like initially that Spencer's designs may have had some period family portraits to the manner of Demento before they redesigned a large portion of it as it seems like Spencer/Sparda/"Aureolus" Lorenzo Belli/Saddler have shared concepts between them as you can see common elements between them in early concept and some in the retail versions.

I did say it was used as an alias and/or alternative persona although there were comments about Tony being Dante's partner as well so it's interesting they did chose to go through with that path.
