Every post you've made is a load of bollocks. Your ego is just bruised because I took apart your argument point by (the same) point, and you can't back your shit up with evidence. Your argument is far from a "castle". More like a mud hut which has been blown away in the wind, now you're trying to clutch the remaining, floating straws, throw the mud and get away with any dignity you have left.

If you think your argument really was a "castle", I AGAIN challenge you to give me evidence or a valid reason as to why RE4's ammo is bad. And I shall, again, ask you why you criticize the fact that RE4 lets you horde ammo on your second run when every RE game has a fuck-ton of ammo on its second (or even first on your previous RE3) playthrough. Actually back up your points and answer my questions, and maybe you wouldn't look like you're falling flat on your ass.

OK do not kill me for saying this but.... I would not mind a remake of Gaiden for the DS. It's not among my priorities for a remake but, I mean, the storyline wasn't too bad, it was the annoying music and the terrible fighting system that made it crappier than it should have been. Graphics were the best they could afford for the GBC.

I mean, playing with Barry was quite cool, you'd only need to change the music, fighting system and the ending and voilĂ , there you have a 'new' re-hashed game.

^ I agree, 'Gaiden' could actually make a good game if remade (just need to fix the canonicity around). 'Survivor' would make a great remade game, too.

Also, I stepped into this thread, not expecting a battlefield. I was shot down in the middle of it all (you know, Alexia v. KylieDog?... I should stop making cheap jokes). But still, whoa.

Once upon a time before I developed a habit of posting lolcats and then joined the legion of Moderati, I used to get into debates quite a lot (on other sites, mind). Ask MoS. I used to debate with him for hours at a time at one point.

I don't like arguments and much prefer healthy discussion, but when someone throws their opinion around as fact and makes false accusations against a really good game, I have to call it out.

I, for one, am greatful for this.

^ Ah, @Alexia, I see. The scars of experience shows. Beware! That's why we love you.

Anyone else think that 'Survivor' has, like, amazing potential as a remake? I remember there was a thread about this a few months back. I think it could make a really good FPS shooter, although it'd be, like, really slow and atmospheric. Like... 'F.E.A.R.'? Was that game even scary? I can't remember. But, yeah, I think 'Survivor' deserves a remake.

                    Spoiler:

It depends. Although the later games (RE2,3) don't really need a remake per se because they were fantastic as they are, they were the most popular so they'd sell. They're also the games people would want to see remade most. "Survivor" appears to be a game that was released before its time, a lot like Outbreak. If it was remade, I'm pretty sure it could be quite good. I'm not sure RE would work as a full FPS, but maybe it could work with the over-the-shoulder cam of 4/5.

REmake, hands down. The ultimate Resident Evil/Biohazard experience.

Haha, I remember on another site that won't be named reading for hours back and forth replies, good times.

RE 4 and 5 both have there flaws and think that is why some people would like the series to reboot and see some new characters.

Can we not be all hostile/violent/stupid/offensive/whatever in here and stuff?
I see my little brother's Mass Effect character is once again dropping by... that's never a good thing.

I think a REmake of Survivor would be excellent! I loved that game a d with today's huge FPS market I believe it could sell well. However Cap om will prbably never remake the game but instead just re-release it onto PSN.

My favourite Resident evil games (that I play in that order) are:

1.) Resident evil 5 -PLZ don't kill me. It's a good game to me and I like the gameplay and co-op mode. Even if it's not scary enough and feels like a action game than survivor horror (however I do agree with some people who said that it's not scary enough) , it's still a good game. The only things that I don't like in the game is Jill's battlesuit design (she reminds me of Fiona from Haunting ground) and some parts of the story.

2.) Resident evil: Director's cut - One of the first PSN classics that I play. I mostly play as Jill most of the time. I keep dying at the finial battle with the Tyrant. He's so frusterating!! >__<

3.) Resident Evil 2- I love the Rookie mode features, especially the rocket laucher with umlimited ammo. I play it all the way through Rookie mode.

4.) Resident evil 3 -I like this game because it has some of the most interesting features like the choices scenes (and the affects of choosing a choice) and the fact that Nemesis chasing me when I go room to room.

                                Agreed.

Take Gaiden's main plot. Revolve it around with elements of canon (Barry could be a member of BSAA or something similar), remove Leon (I'm no Leon hater but Mr. Burton is definetly capable of going solo, specially against living things ha), add RE4's gameplay with zombies (like Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop) and we have a pretty decent game!
