RE4 Leon or Degeneration Leon?

So I was just listening through some of the Podcasts and came along the two about Degeneration.

Gene said he didn't mind Leon in RE4but couldn't stand him in Degeneration. I feel the same but I'm curious what other people think.

Either way he is annoying as hell.

RE4 made him seem capable, but also not invincible. Degeneration just put him over the top into the odd untouchable category.

there's something wrong with Leon's appearance in Degeneration. he talks like a stiff monkey at times.

Well, Resident Evil 4’s incarnation of Leon is certainly irritating, but he does have some redeeming qualities, in my opinion. He put up with Ashley, for one thing, and his concern for her well-being was a throwback to his need to protect people, as he attempted to do with Ada in RE2. Also, in RE4, after he strangled Ada, he apologized rather sincerely, and that, to me, made him seem like less of an asshole.

Leon is just a douche in Degeneration. I couldn’t find a single likable quality about him.

Appearance-wise, yes, Leon looks weird in Degeneration but so does Claire. So does everyone in that movie.

I pick unmentioned option C: RE2 Leon

RE4 Leon. Degen Leon looked.. odd and creepy. His personality was also a bit bland.

RE4 Leon was just... shockingly awful. His appearance was better than Degens only because in Degen Leon looked like someone with a Down syndrome.

I found almost nothing wrong with the character in Degen, the Hollywood-esque action scene was something we see everywhere these days.

In my idea Leon in RE4 was much better than degeneration. but both Leon in RE2 and RE4 were great.

If I had to choose between those two... then I pick RE4 one.

Degeneration one was just too emotionless. And while it's not a problem per se (he acted like a professionalist after all, and not a jerk who thinks he's cool), he was just boring and as a character, not very likable. RE4 Leon at least was amusing, although very annoying with his smug talking and constant one liners (you're on a mission, surrounded by a bunch of religious maniacs with monsters popping out of their heads and who want to kill you - you don't joke in a situations like this :/).

RE2/DSC Leon is still the best .

Oh, and when it comes to look, I think RE4 Leon looks the best. I don't Like Deg Leon "asian" look, and I hate DSC Leon's plastic hair.

I would say Re4 leon since he actualy has a personality lol. To be honest I really liked RE4 Leon, I mean he was still just as protective as in RE2 except he was now a skilled and confident (a bit over confident mind) also I liked his cheesy one liners lol

What, as opposed to the hundred times he shouts out "Ashley, I'm coming for ya!", "Ashley!!", etc.?

I'd rather he yell about someone he cares about and not some helpless blonde Olsen twin.

I too pick the unmentioned option C. Well, either RE2 or DSC.
