RE3's Intro
Police Man: Fire! *gazillion bullets hit slow zombies*
(what was cut out of that intro)
SWAT Member: Shit, tell me you didn't just load up the clips with blanks again?
Police Man: Just keep aimlessly shooting, people will buy it.
SWAT Member: But it takes Jill 5 shots to kill a zombie...
Police Man: ....................JUST KEEP FIRING!

I always assumed the doors in the Mansion had a metal core and were reinforced. What would be the point of having an elaborate system of keys and locks if you can just knock the doors down. Of course an exception would be the door Barry knocks down to save Jill, but it wasn't a crest door and that event only happens in Jill's scenario if you don't use the broken shotgun.Originally posted by PHAT NINJA878 View PostTHIS WOODEN DOOR IS LOCKED!!! BETTER NOT BLOW IT DOWN WITH THIS SHOT GUN

Zombies can open the doors. Hunters knock them out. You have a grenade launcher that could easily open a door, but it's not that powerful against non-living things, so you need to go to the other side of the mansion to get a tiny ass key to open that door. Nevermind that lockpicking skills you have (Chris is excused because he's too dumb to pick locks or play a piano, actually he plays an ukulele).Originally posted by BLSR1 View PostI always assumed the doors in the Mansion had a metal core and were reinforced. I'm suspicious with the fact that a whole lot of the characters (mainly you, freaking Claire!!!) end up in BioHazard incidents more than once, accidentally. ACCIDENTALLY! HOW IS IT THAT EVEN DAMN POSSIBLE!?!? Bad luck, I guess, eh?
Unless it's all. Fucking. Planned. O_O
Now I'm looking at you, Cameron (4D Executor, mind you). We all know you're Elza Walker's aunt/guardian-because-your-parents-were-in-a-tragic-Umbrella-accident-nobody-even-FUCKING-KNOWS-ABOUT, and that you wanna kill Claire! It was all you! Youuuuuuuu!!!
lol

Well, the trap and puzzle system in RE1 and RE2 can be explained by someone in the Mansion/RPD activating the traps after the Outbreak. We know Irons did just that and it's safe to assume someone did the same in the mansion. Maybe to keep people trapped inside.
The lack of toilets is far more worrying.

Everyone who meets Claire is screwed: her parents(died, it think), Chris(4 BH, his ex captian resurected to kick his ass whe he was going to rescue her, losing her partner), Leon(Losing Ada, got infected, 4 BH), Annette(died), Sherry (the girl that did it just fine though four days got Infected when she meet Claire), Steve(got infected and died to save her), Rodrigo(got injured, got eaten by a worm, died), the other people at rockfort island, antartica facility, hardvardville airport, Rani, Angela, etc...Last edited by ValentineLover; 01-12-2010, 09:12 AM.

I've always hated that room with the ceiling trap, just because of the massive architectural plot hole involved. That ceiling was at least 15-20 feet high and had to have some kind of mechanism to lower the ceiling (which takes up room). Yet directly above it on the second floor (10-12 feet above, mind you) is a hallway or bedroom or something. Good old Georgie must have been one hell of an architect...Originally posted by BLSR1 View PostI always assumed the doors in the Mansion had a metal core and were reinforced. Ridiculous!

Yeah, you have to imagine how hectic things in the mansion were as everyone turned into zombies. People were going crazy and hid things. You could even blame Wesker for some of the traps/puzzels because he had the master key and obviously wouldn't want his team to find out the truth.Originally posted by Darkmoon View PostWell, the trap and puzzle system in RE1 and RE2 can be explained by someone in the Mansion/RPD activating the traps after the Outbreak.
