Also, anyone else notice, in 5, if you were that close inside a volcano (or that close to the FUCKING LAVA), wouldn't you have already either burned and/or suffocated to death? Seriously, I'm asking, as it just seems so ridiculous.

^ Very much that, too. At least in DSC, they were all Oh shit! We should get inside before we fucking FREEZE to death! Although they would've been frozen at the temperatures they were experiencing in DSC, at least it at least made them seem cold, whereas in CV/x. they acted/seemed impervious tot he cold, IIRC.
