Rebecca possibly (though, still doubtfully) having a cameo, S.D. Perry would probably dedicate an entire novel to that scenario. Dear Lord.

This small snippet is way more insightful, which is why I definitely look forward to more. The additional details on Chris' thought pattern is what I find most entertaining, especially when it comes to Jill and Sheva. Makes the narrative in RE5 seem less bland.

Emo Chris is emo.

I think she has a decent, semi-realistic enough back story. I've seen several random biographies while working about men and women from Africa that were apart of rebel groups or from impoverished families that came to America, received proper education, etc.

But did any of those people go straight to an esteemed university after never having even stepped foot into a grade or high school? And did they learn proper English, enough that they could pass for a native speaker, in a matter of months? She's just another child prodigy in a series that apparently prides itself on having an overabundance of them. I imagine that's the real issue with her backstory and character for most people.

Why would I give a fuck what you think? If anything, I agree with you on the ridiculously over-exaggerated, unrealistic attributes that are typical of the characters that permeate the RE franchise.

I've read all the books. Rebecca hard-on? I'll say. Caliban Cove amirite? And I wasn't surprised when she came out with the RE0 novelization. The premise of trent just annoyed me. I've read the books during my teen years and I had a stubborn attitude for wanting/wishing the books would be somewhat following the cannon storyline.

That didn't work out too well. Although Caliban Cove was somewhat entertaining towards the end.

Perry's RE:CV interpretation wasn't too bad ethier. Though she made Steve into a pervin', emo dual wieldin "FATHERRR!!!" gunner, but I suppose filler and character depth is needed for a book of that stature, heh. Wesker hard-on was one of the best moments of the book.
I've grown akin to Perrys writing style- having a chapter dedicated to a characters' point of view, so, dare I say? I wouldn't mind reading a novelization of RE5 if she were to come about it.

I've heard Perry was in the process of writing a novel for RE4, but I hadn't been to the bookstore lately/read up online about it.

Re. the perry 'novels' may I second that, and thanks for the additional background info, it's good to know the involvement or otherwise of Capcom Biohazard staff with this stuff ~ On a similar note regarding Chris' inner thought, I posses a RE5 promo dvd with his 6 viral videos, involving actors playing the parts of Chris, and Sheva; they are quite dramatic, 6 episodes in total, and can be made available if not already here @THIA ~ just pm me.
