Last time I checked, it was written ドラキュラ on the box, which is also the correct way of writing in Japanese.
What's with the mix anyway? You wrote Akumajō Dracula X in full Japanophile, while you opted for the commmon English translation of Gekka no Yasōkyoku (Ugh. Hate using macrons while writing, by the way. Stuff like "ou" all the way... )

The Saturn version has a few new areas like a prison and a underground garden, plus Maria and Richtor are all playable from the get go.
Why do I write it the way id do? I dunno, always have, even before I took Japanese classes.

Im just going to type an obvious answer
If it's not on xbox, then theres a reason for it
could because that it uses out dated software (the resi game i mean)
could be because xbox doesnt have a certain something to play it
could just be that capcom just wants it on PSN
it might even be because microsoft refused an offer to put it on the xbox marketplace
etc..
All that matters is that theres a valid reason for it.

The classic RE games not appearing on XBLA (yet, anyway) is tied to the fact that there are several additional factors involved on the XBLA side of things:
1. Previously it was partly a space issues (note how Symphony of the Night killed the few FMVs the game originally had). This is a non-issue now. This cap no longer exists.
2. Microsoft no longer want meta-emulated games on the arcade (Sega's been the only one to've bypassed this after this was added. Guess in the future meta-emulation will find a home in the virtual arcade thingy.)
and then the most important factor
3. There is no pre-made code that'll run straight out of the box on the Xbox 360. For the classic RE games (or any other Resident Evil game that is not Resident Evil 5) someone would have to actually re-write large portions of the game's code. In the case of RE1-3, using the PC/DC version is of course a good start. A lot of what already runs in DirectX will probably be possible to salvage and a lot of companies have had great success with quickly porting their Dreamcast games (Quick! To the port-o-tron!).
The only part of it all that is out of the question (as far as Sony goes) is running a PS1 emulator on the 360. As that might upset Sony. (Though, Symphony of the Night probably runs on some weirdo hybrid of an emulator/interpretor.)
As for Goldeneye, that's a mess of a licensing issue with the actual James Bond property and the game. Nintendo owns the rights to the actual game, Activision owned the rights to the James Bond video game license, RARE sat on the game's source code, and Microsoft sat on RARE. There's no scenario like that in the case of Resident Evil. Capcom owns Resident Evil in pretty much every single way.

Yeah but I still don't see Classic RE games going on Xbox Live.Maybe the outbreak games but not RE1,2,3 and CVXLast edited by BrionIrons; 02-05-2010, 01:32 PM.sigpic

well my opinion The outbreak games are more fun and it could benifit capcom by bringing more online resident evil gaming to the xbox gamers.Playing RE5 online tends to get boring sometimes.so yeah why not.I don't see anything wrong with the outbreak games going to xbox live.An xbox live port of the outbreak games would not hurt.It could use some improvements like being able to use a headset to communicate with other gamers and maybe 1 or 2 new levels.but the way I see it is The more RE online the the more Capcom can make profits.Last edited by BrionIrons; 02-05-2010, 01:47 PM.sigpic
