Question: Is Resident Evil possible on XBLA?

^ It'd be a big file to download then. Seeing as a standard Gamecube game is 1.5GB (minus the junk data) the actually game would be like 2GB. Who knows what he future may hold.

Heavy Rain demo was about 1.35 GB, so 1.5-2GB for a full game isn't that much anymore.

With a mixture of improved compression techniques for various formats + the fact that the two discs for the game hold some duplicate assets, I'm pretty sure your 2gb estimate is not too far off... which still would've made it smaller than some other XBLA titles (C&C - Red Alert 3 - Commander's Challenge is 2,1gb. Think the Watchmen - The End is Nigh game is also 2gb. Not sure about some of the sports stuff... seem to recall EA's NBA game or something also being pretty sizy.)
