I think by some strange twist of fate the German version is uncut.

I know that doesn't make alot of sense, but I recall I had a conversation with a guy saying it was so, and he even supplied pics.

I'll have to look this up again to be able to confirm anything, though. I think it was at Capcom Europe.

I got the Saturn version... It was disappointing, wasn't it? It was supposed to have lot's of gore. They even had the animation for zombies eating your corpse in it too, I believe. But it didn't make the final game... Balls...

However, the German version of Resident Evil Director's Cut doesn't have the Kenneth scene and containes the censored version of Chris's Bad Ending.

As i said up there, the only difference with the Biohazard: Dual Shock Edition intro is the music, so theres not really any point in ripping it, converting it and uploading it.

I'd actually love to see one of these Saturn versions of the game that "slipped through" with the full colour, uncut intro but tbh, i find it very doubtful myself.
Believe it or not but i've had the Saturn version for years and never even played it, never even tried it out. Make me laugh if it turned out to be one of these mega-rare uncut versions but i doubt it somehow

I'll only believe it when i actually see it, or have confirmation from a trustworthy source.

I have played it and found out, i even picked up another copy that i found cheap to check out too. And no, it doesn't contain the uncut intro.

I even ripped all the movies from the disc using an Hex Editor and converted them to .AVI's, just to see if the uncut intro was still actually on the disc, and it wasn't.

I believe what crunkgames.com said was true about the North American Resident Evil versions on some Saturns that had all 3 uncut videos.

That and piracy is only bad when it's hurting the company (that and if your paying pirates for stuff freely available). Is SEGA getting stabbed by all the saturn piracy nowadays? No. They don't even make Saturn games anymore. Is Capcom selling RE on the Saturn anymore? No. As long as you support the format as it is remade, then that's all you need to do to keep retro gaming alive. I have personally bought the RES remake and will eventually buy the REmake for cube, so I see no problem downloading the Saturn port or PSX original. In fact, I've bought Sonic the hedgehog series both on the PC (twice in fact) and on the cube, so I wouldn't feel bad downloading the roms, considering I'm supporting them in the only way I can atm. Get it hunk?

those videos the youtube ppl taken from capcom is already piracy.

Because capcom only accept those (transfers) who had already written letters of permission/request to them, or else, the youtube and those biohazard webmasters had already violated the copyright.
