man i am having so much trouble getting this achievement, any tips?

Find a Big Man Majini. They are definitely the easiest enemy to prompt the three melee combo, especially if you’re not playing co-op and are relying on the A.I. to handle one of the moves.

Anything that has 3 qualities

-Bigger than most majini
-Covers face and slides back when vulnerable for a melee
-Drops a treasure of some sort

You can do it to a garden variety majini but it would probably have to be a weak shot to the wrist. Big man, Giant, JJ, Chainsaw, etc are more ideal for setting combos up.

Just slide the difficulty up to Vet or Pro and shoot the first Majini you come across in the arm to set up the first melee.

If going to try it with the AI remove all of the AIs weapons.

This is the one trophy I have not got, besides the versus ones. The video was really helpful and think I will try to work on this before LIN comes out.

I got this achievement on my first play-through, with the AI in all. If I remember rightly, I got it from one of the Big Man Majini Spoiler:

on the boat near the end of the game, just after the cage trap.

That was the first and last time I played through the game with an AI partner so all other times I did it were to help others get it which is pretty easy if you agree on who goes first etc.

wow i didnt even realize that i have this achievement until i read this thread haha. I still need to get some achievements related to versus as well as find all of the treasures and upgrade all of the guns

this is the last achievement i need for the main game and still cant get it haha, i just keep screwing it up. still need a few achievements on versus and i dont know if i can be bothered with them, versus is such a chore

If you can get someone else to play co-op with you it'll probably make it easier for you overall.

But as everyone has said, removing the supporting characters weapons and then attacking a Big Man works best. Knee shot, run up and punch, other character attacks, then you run up again and finish them off.

It's not the easiest thing in the world, but it's not the hardest in the game (I had more problems with the shooting the majini in the head one personally).

I finally got this trophy. The first time I tried I didn't get it because the AI made the first hit and then the last but I did it again a got the trophy plus the platinum
