I also think Mercs Reunion is superior to the original Mercs; I only wish you could use the other characters (I want some Wesker and Jill options)!

Also, does anyone else find Road Warrior Chris to be excellent in Mercs? Just discard your rifle/rifle ammo and handgun/handgun ammo when you start, and all you'll get from enemies and smashable objects is shotgun shells for the hydra (which holds more shells than Wesker's). Go on a rampage!

Also, is anyone else a little disappointed that the records screen doesn't recognize the Keepers as enemies that you've killed? The other stuff you kill in LIN (spiders, rats) are recognized, so why not the Keepers? Also, no Keeper figure! And why can't you earn exchange points in LIN, but you can in Mercs Reunion?

    Mass production? Ridiculous!

    • Like I said in the Mercs thread... I thought Warrior Chris looked like a tool, but when I actually used him he looked badass. I also can't wait for DE, which alongside being awesome in itself will give me Josh and Rebecca to tear up the leaderboards with.

        • Ok, withought any spoilers (haven't been reading anything about LIN): does it add anything interesting to the plot?? or is it just a fun experience?

            • Some are minor, and some actually add a whole new layer of mystery onto the story. If you play Lost in Nightmares with someone else your first time, be sure that you're the one who examines the computer to see what I'm talking about.

(You may not understand that now, but you will. XD)

              • I have to praise the direction Yasuhiro Anpo did with Lost in nightmares. The vision he directed towards the team for this downloadable content clearly shows how much they focused on the atmosphere to affect the player in the game. From lighting to sound, it added that nostalgia back to the Spencer estate from Resident Evil 1; the dogs barking (clearly he had the idea of going for the same scare we had when we ventured into the hall way many years ago) to the piano playing by itself, after you left the room and then starting to hear it in the mansion had to give you creeps on how on earth it was still playing. And then the rest of the sound affects implemented with the sound of object being knocked over, the sound of twisted metal is being bent, faded moans, and then the keeper’s deep breathing. It all added to making this scenario probably my favourite in the game. You got to even lose the use of items being swapped on the difficulties set, and then the limited ammo and health you can get during your play through. It really adds that feeling of survival horror we had in the past, and I can’t wait for more in the future with what the hinted protagonist, Alex Wesker, will bring to the future.

                • Gareth I was wondering if you can give me info about Alex Wesker? I don't know much about him.

                  • Alex was one of Ozwell Spencer highest regarded staff members in Umbrella, and even a trusted ally. He was in in-charge of the Wesker children project, and in Spencer's last involvement with researching upon "immortal life". However he betrays Spencer in this project after a breakthrough, and soon run offs with the information and resources he gained, alive and well.

His status as of now remains unknown but it's heavily hinted he will become a future antagonist.

                    • I see, this is getting interesting. Another thing, him using the last time wesker, is he related to Albert Wesker in any way?

                      • All children recruited for Project W are named after the main head of the project, Alex Wesker, that's why Albert has that surname.

                        • Barry and Chris on Merc's reunion today was a blast, with me and Canas getting double S rank without any problems. So manly.
