Beating RE remake in 1 hour and 43 minutes. Whew. My previous attempt to unlock all the goodies such as the Samurai edge/Rocket launcher landed me at 3 hours and 1 minute ( I shit you not ), which in turn really, really pissed me off. So, I did several test runs and exceeded my goal in the next full playthrough. I found that the biggest part of making good time for me was just knowing about all the shit you DON'T need during a run lol.

A few months later I accidentally deleted my save while making space for some shit Mortal Kombat game, which by the way take up 90% of GC memory cards. This too pissed me off, but since I don't currently own a time machine to travel back in time and beat the shit out of old me, my only choice is to replay it. Uggh, zombie Forest strapped with grenades stressed me out anyways. Still my favorite of the series though

Yea I know, but it makes my chest hurt lol. Remake could literally kill me, especially if I'm playing it constantly for speed runs. IMO, it's the best game in the series. It's the scariest game without a doubt (right above gaiden ), and the atmosphere is excellent. Most people already know the truth to these words, but if not - GO PLAY IT.

I did a video playthrough of Resident Evil 2 - Nintendo 64 version that I'm going to upload on YouTube very soon, as soon as I'm done with my other Resident Evil 2 project.

In this playthrough, I beat Claire A / Leon B scenario with both A ranking, no spray-cans, no saving, with a time of "03:03:30" & "03:43:57", respectfully. In this same run, I happened to unlock 4th Survivor.

I dont know if this counts as an achievment...but i found it halerious non the less. So i'll type this in here for my friend.
It's RE5 and me and Caligo were playing Versus mode together (survivor match)
She kicks my ass every time on it.
But this time i managed to corner her, and i had the grenade gun...
i raised my weapon...and i was woundering why she wasnt trying to avoid my attack...and then i realised why...
When a chainsaw dude cut my head off from behind.
She watched it sneak up on me, aha xD
Although theres nothing i could of done anyway, its either get my head cut off or turn my back and risk her killing me instead.

But man, shes awesome.

I beat that with a time of 3:28 sec A rank that was pretty cool. beating RE gaiden was hard and that game does count i also beat RE0 on Hard that was challenging

Yesterday I beat Resident Evil 2 LeonA on the Dreamcast in Nightmare Mode with no cheats. It wasn't nearly as hard as I had imagined. Birkin didn't one hit kill, he hurt me about 2-4 times and I wasn't even in danger yet. I had 3 FAS on me and only was forced to use just one. My biggest struggle was actually the G-Embryo and Brown Lickers in the labs. I died several times with the Brown Lickers guarding the labs towards the end.

Sadly and surprisingly, I didn't get any reward for this accomplishment. Though the satisfaction of beating it on the hardest difficulty is more than enough for me.

I bet ClaireB won't be a walk in the park though.
