    You're telling me about it, if you have a look at areas "outside" of Raccoon in the games - it scarily matches up (like, the Outbreak ending on the bridge).

    Which is why, when I noticed it I thought I'd have a look around for more and then spotted the Umbrella Corp. ;

    My curiosity gets the better of me, guess it goes with the name though...

      I found out it's near the heel of Kentucky and it's pretty close to West Virginia.
      I could barely find any information on Raccoon (little bit weird, considering that there's a few thousand people there to classify it as a city and yet there's barely any actual information and/or photos).
      Heh... I live in the tri-state area of W.Va. (Huntington), and have drove through the city of Raccoon, in Kentucky... it's nothing but a forested area!

      Coincidentally, there's a city/area in Pennsylvania, named Raccoon, as well. Again, nothing but forest - IIRC, it was a camping ground/park.
      I'm a blackstar.

          You can tour it through google earth, it's only one street. I love google earth! Especially since they've finally photographed my "native" town which I haven't seen in like 10 years.

            Mind blown.

            I have Google Earth Pro here at work on a 40 inch monitor. Time to do some scouting around the forest zone, northwest of Raccoon City.

            Great topic Enetirnel.

              The street, is mostly the state highway and a slight section of Raccoon Rd. Until recently (probably around December) were satellite images put in and eventually some photos of the area from the state highway from what I can tell - taking into consideration that it's been classified as a (small) city and combined with that Google hasn't finished getting all of their Streetview regions absolutely complete.

              I can certainly understand you with that there Consoul, I felt the same way.

              Not a problem (by the way, I've sent you a little bit more on it).

                I admit the data you've found is pretty amusing.

                Is google earth pro worth it? What's the difference?
