I'm totally up for Chris and Claire taking on Wesker. I also love that Ali is actually wearing something reminiscent of Claire's outfit this time, she looks stunning.

Indeed. Taking things pretty much directly from the games isnt exactly a show of creativity, especially after everything else vaguely resembling the games has been butchered (effects of the virus turning the world into a desert, for one, and it giving Alice super powers along with telekinesis for another). And really...does it matter if they copy paste characters and events directly from the game? Alice is just going to sweep in and save the day with her clone army, so really its a bit pointless.

For the fans of the games that dislike the movies already...I doubt this is going to go over well with them at all. For people that like the movies for whatever reason, they'll probably go nuts.

I honestly dislike people that have never played the games but watch the movies, and then they think the games are like the movies and complain because they dont have Alice and her wonderful Pokemon powers.

How does that make you a bad fan? I hate RE4 to death, yet I love the movies and the classic titles. Does that make me a bad fan?

Very much aware of this. I detest the movies because they are very poorly done (terrible acting, effects which are rather dated, bad choice of actors, etc). Having the name of one of my favorite video games attached to it only builds off that. I'm not going to be one of these hardcore haters that think the movies shouldn't be made. They are popular movies that do bring attention to the game series for non-gamers.

Hardcore fans of the game that utterly despise the movies seem to think that their opinions about how the movie should be made, and that it is garbage, are the only true opinions, and that anyone thinking otherwise is wrong, or not a true fan of the games. I have friends that never played the games, but highly enjoy the horror/action the movies bring (most of them love the first one the best). I come here and it seems like every other poster wants to have practically anyone associated with the film on line for a firing squad. Then you have the people that come here and enjoy the films, and feel they have to be worried about admitting it. Always to the extremes...

Yeah, I noticed the extremes. That's why I try to be so vocal about me enjoying the movies, to sort of "stick it to the man". ...Nah, I just enjoy them so I figure I don't need to be ashamed about it.
